A+ for looks. Looses Bluetooth connectivity easily, gives you hot ears after 1 hour use, and battery life is not what’s advertised.

These headphones have ZERO noise cancelling compared to my prior Bose headphones. The music sounds great on them but if your somewhere noisy like a plane or the gym then you can easily hear the outside noise. Spend the extra money and get the Bose Quiet Comfort 35's

I have no issues with the quality of the headphones themselves. I think they are very nicely built and comfortable. However, that only goes so far. It helps if I could actually get them to connect to my MacBook Pro. I open up my computer, turn on my beats, and pray that they will connect. If they don't, I will have to spend AT LEAST 20 minutes trying to get them to connect. Sometimes they do connect right away, but when they don't, I literally can not get them to connect. I am not connected to a different device, I turn off my computer and the beats and try to start over, I un-pair them and then I can't re-pair them because they never come back into my bluetooth options. So I put them in discovery mode, and they still don't show up. My beats are searching, my computer is searching, but they never register each other. You would think that since they are both apple products, they would work well together?? Please come out with an update to fix this. Both of my products have up to date software. Right now, I can not connect them. I have exhausted all options. It is such a waste of time. This is so frustrating. I love my beats, I just want to be able to use them wirelessly.

I wouldn't buy another one simply because even when it's off and not being used the power still dies... maybe it's defective?

I loved the look and sound of my new Beats. They were simply "gorgeous" and very easy to use and connect wirelessly to my IPhone. I charged them once or twice but didn't have time to charge a third time before the light turned red. I was not concerned. However, when I connected the headphones, they were dead. I googled "Beats headphones will not work" and was surprised to learn that others had this problem. I called Beats (Apple), expecting a simple solution. After a few efforts at repair, the technician told me he had initiated a case to have my Beats repaired. I assured him that I was not interested in a repair but wanted a new pair. These headphones were only about 18 days old. He informed me that most stores only covered new purchases for 15 days and he doubted if they would offer me a new pair. I ordered them online and was reluctant and didn't want to go through the hassle of calling and trying to arrange a return. To their credit, Apple overnighted me a box to return the headphones. I was told to return only the headphones and assured that I would receive not a refurbished but a new replacement. This was unbelievable and very disappointing!

I did like the shinnyness of the headphones but I was not pleased with the smallness of the earcup. I really thought and expected them to be bigger not the long way circular and the sound also. The very first ones were way louder then these updated ones. I do not like them thinking about returning them for the old ones plus missing the charger wire or do you use the headphone wire.

    Great bluetooth headphones

I did quite a bit of research on noise cancelling headphones before purchasing and here is what I found and where I ended up. Bose is said by many to manufacture the best noise cancelling headphones; they are basically leading the retail community with their technology (at least at this price point) from what I can tell. They only currently offer a wired pair with noise cancelling, so if wireless is a requirement, then Bose is not an option right now. I was on the fence for my use of the headphones – I didn’t require wireless as I will be using them primarily for travel (i.e. plane) but certainly find it a huge benefit as one less cord is ideal to me. So when I found these, wireless and noise cancelling I was excited and intrigued to say the least. I found a store nearby that had both Bose QC25 and Beats Studio Wireless in stock and on display. I listened to them both and can say that the Bose did have better noise cancelling capabilities, but not by as far as a margin that I initially thought. On both sets you can hear nearby voices and other non-static noises… that is inevitable. However, if I put the Bose at the “100%” mark for noise cancellation to use as a benchmark, I put the Beats at “70%”. So not the exact same level of quality but overall pretty good and a competitor that is for sure. This is all based with some level of music on; I didn’t really give the noise cancelling a try without music. If you read any reviews, Beats has a mixed history in general but the most recent headphones are more widely accepted as better sound quality than earlier versions and I agree. Listening to the Beats against several other brands I felt that the sound quality was great, the volume went very loud when desired and the connection is strong (note: update the software when you first get them otherwise your connection may drop out, did for me at first). It is important to point out that I don’t listen to classic, country or any type of soft rock music so I cannot speak to these genres. I listen to pop/alt rock/electronic music and I think these hit the mark perfect for how that music is meant to be heard (an appropriate amount of bass to make it fun/enjoyable but clear and crisp response to the full spectrum – I am in no way an audiophile though). Overall and the bottom line is I am very satisfied with these headphones. Yes, they look the best by and far so if that is what you’re looking for, look no further. If you are only focused on noise cancelling and do not care about the cord, there are probably other options to consider but these are still worth a serious look…. If you want the “whole package” of wireless headphones that look great and have noise cancelling, I believe these are the right pick and the exact reason I went with them. So, 4 out of 5 stars given the fact that they are a great set of headphones with good (not the best) noise cancelling.
