Had to return them after 2-3 due to extreme head pressure leading to headaches/migraines. After 2+ hours of use the pain became unbearable. Product it self is great and durable but just not for me.

    Amazing Audio, Lackluster Noise Canceling.

I was skeptical about Beats after listening to the older "boomy" models but after sampling the Studio Wireless at different Apple Stores I started to come around. While vacationing in DC, I grabbed these in Matte Black at the Georgetown store. My wife has Bose QC25s so it was fun to compare the two and fully expected the Bose to win but WOW, in overall sound the Beats sound better. I was shocked! The highs are brighter and the lows are way better. An example is Pittbull and Marc Anthony's "Rain Over Me." During Marc Anthony's main riff a huge bass roll drops from a low to almost sub-sonic in the first two seconds of the song. With the Bose on, the bass fades as it bottoms out. They just can't handle the low frequency. The Beats easily handle the bass but retain all high and mid tones. That's a real accomplishment. But bass isn't the only thing the Beats Studio's deliver. They do a great job with details in the upper register too. "No More Miracles" by Kid Ink starts off with Elle Verner screeching out "I never waited on a miracle, there ain't no miracles 'round here" over a strumming mandolin. The Beats deliver her vocal rasp with such precision it's almost like she was in the room with you. As a light bass line enters the mix and you can clearly hear the bass player rapidly fingering the string to keep the line humming along with the vocals. Using the Bose, the bass line sounds artificial, like it's being produced from a synth. Later in the song, at 0:24, well delivered bass kicks in as the song goes full-on Hip-hop. I'm so accustomed to sloppy Hip-hop that when you hear this song on the Beats, it's like hearing it for the first time. This song can be a challenge for some headphone as a delicate mandolin can easily get drowned out by deep rumbling bass but the Beats show their balance as both are forward and clearly audible. Listen to this track on Beats Studios for the first time and once it ends you'll want to play it again. I promise. Diana Krall and Bryan Adams (yeah, that one) cover "Feels Like Home" written by Randy Newman and originally performed by Linda Ronstadt. Diana's piano is so well reproduced that it sounds like she's playing it right behind you but the best part is that Diana's whiskey, lounge-singer voice drifts like wisps of cigarette smoke gently floating into your ears. Every detail of her complex voice is revealed with crisp audio clarity. If the seventeen seconds of Diana's voice and smooth rolling piano, between 0:51-1:12 don't convince you that these aren't just Hip-hop bass beasts then you are either tone deaf or biased against the Beats brand. This short moment in time is near audio perfection and the Beats deliver it flawlessly. When it comes to noise canceling, the Bose win hands down, no contest. Bose invented ANR, patented the *bleep* out of it and no one can touch them. I got to do a side-by-side comparison on the plane ride home from DC and my wife's Bose shamed the Beats in noise cancellation. I like Bose's battery vs. Beats recharge system too. You can always find a battery but plugs can be inconvenient. Also, the Beats egg-shaped case is a pain to pack in a messenger bag! And why no cord pockets? Come on! The Beats comes with three cords! The best sound around and I'm glad I bought them but they totally lack effective ANR, the odd-shaped case is a pain to pack in a messenger bag, the lack of cord pockets are minuses. So close Beats! Maybe Jony Ive will help Beats get the details right.

My husband loved these until they were literally falling apart. It was a huge disappointment that the warranty didn't cover the 'damage'. All that was advised was to buy a new pair.

So, the price on these has dropped quite a bit. A while back, these started out at $370. I had no interest in spending $370 on a pair of wireless Beats. I had tried them on back then and they were very comfortable, but it just wasn't happening. Fast forward to the 50th Anniversary sale. Best Buy had these on sale for $199. Now, at that price, I was very interested. There's something about the range of $150-250 that is the sweet spot for me with headphones. I cringe at paying higher and I tend to be disappointed with cheaper headphones (not counting earbuds in this since the Jaybird X2s and the new Bose Soundsport Wireless headphones are both solid -- particularly the Bose -- for working out and activities). But I digress. I ended up purchasing these in Titanium (although I think I may make an even exchange for a sexy Matte Black pair). Picked them up a day or so after they were ready. Immediately you notice how well the packaging is. This is pretty meaningless, but the display is quite nice. The hard case they come with is really quite solid and seems to protect them well (I also can stick a pair of earbuds in the case as well as a charging cable) during travel. Putting them on, I immediately remembered just how comfortable the headphones were from when I tried them on ages ago. The ear covers are soft and plush and the headband is just the right amount of snug. A lot of work went into this. I have what you'd call a big head, and I notice no pinching or overt tightness at all. These remain comfortable after hours of listening (I've done upwards of four hours in one sitting, now). The build quality seems to be decent. Solid plastic and metal hinges. There were some old complaints about this, but I haven't noticed anything concerning yet. The sound quality on the headphones is solid. A perfect fit for the $150-250 range. Obviously the sound profile with the Beats typically is best for bass-heavy tracks. Hip hop and rap sound exquisite coming from these headphones. Heavy rock does as well. However, I've not noticed much of a washing out of the highs and mids. I still get a fairly full sound profile on jazz tracks and indie rock tracks that I wasn't really anticipating with these. It's a pleasant sound for sure. Audiophiles probably will be able to pick the sound apart a lot more than I can, but I am very much pleased with what I have heard thus far. With all of that said, I would only recommend these in the $200-250 range when on sale. I cannot picture paying $370 for these. Nothing in the package would justify that cost. But it appears that the $250 price point may be a fairly permanent switch for Best Buy (and likely other retailers other than Apple Stores). At that price? I think it's a very good buy. There is enough offered to the user in terms of build quality, comfort, and price to justify paying somewhere in the range of $200-250.

The cover paint is pealing away like an orange shell. And the leather material is cracking up to a point that I have to tape it together. It,s Bluetooth connection to my phone is sometimes good, others not so good. Would not buy it again!

Bought these for my husband as his birthday present. Ended up returning them. They had a high pitch sound when there was nothing playing. Purchased a set of Bose instead. Loves them!

Alright, if you just hear sound from apple EarPods or beats tour, you will actually think it's a good headphone. However, if you ever hear just like htc pro studio level earbuds, you absolutely have the same feeling like me--beats sucks.

    Disappointed :(

Pros: These headphones look great, no question about it. Built quality is great. Wireless performance is great, I constantly had 30ft range if not more. Ease of use is great. Battery lasted as advertised and charging was easy. However, I used them only for 3 days so cant comment on longevity. Boxing is great but for me it has little importance. Bass is great, its not too much as previous models but still more than a neutral pair of headphones. Cons: Although they seem comfy at first, they hurt my head/ears after 2-3 hours of usage. Pads apply too much pressure which gets uncomfortable. Taking a break didnt solve the issue either, I was unable to use them for that day. High pitch range doesnt distort but anything more than 1-2 hrs of usage started to hurt my ears, and after about 4-5 hours I was literally unable to listen to music any longer. Its not due to a fault my pair had but its more of a driver issue. These headphones have sharp high pitch range which I personally cannot handle. I usually dim the high pitch range slightly as my ears are sensitive. So you might not have this issue if you love your trebles, however you might still suffer from discomfort around your ears. ANC is pretty much useless especially if you use the noise canceling mode only. It just doesnt cancel noise, period. But thats not it, due to ANC which you can never turn off, you will always have a static hiss any time you use these headphones. It doesnt matter which mode/source, the hiss will be there. Overall, they are still a good pair of headphones, solid built quality, ease of use, okay sound and great design. To be honest I felt sorry and disappointed returning them. However, for $300+ I can easily think about 20 different headphones that sound better. And the ANC hiss is something I simply cannot accept. Compare these with BOSE QC25 you will see the difference like day and night. However, if your hearing is not as selective as mine and if the background hiss wont bother you, you might still love these. For me, I would never rate them 5 stars as I believe they dont deserve it. I would give them 4 stars if ANC didnt have the hiss and if it was cheaper. And I would give it 3 stars if the price was around $200. But for its retail price, I believe it should be your choice only if you value style over sound or comfort.

I have been trying to find headphones to fly with that are wireless & noise limiting with good sound quality. These didn't help. The sound quality was muttled with severe bass. I have yet to find a wireless pair I want to own.

I love the wireless feature! No more cords in the way while working out. Even though they look big, they are pretty lightweight!!! I love them for cardio & talking on the phone. Perfect choice for me. Way better than ear buds! I'm a female in my mid 20s.

I like the product, however it was refurbished. It would not sync to be wireless. A piece was missing and could not charge it up. I would get a product again, but I would rather just make sure it is brand spanking new!

Very dissatisfied with my Beats over the ear headphones. They did not work well on my flight for noise cancellation. Ended up not listening to my music because of it. They are good if you don't have any background noise.

I have tried many noise canceling headphones. This unit has to be the one of the worst. There is a constant hiss even when music is being played at low volumes. I returned it and got a Parrot Zik instead. Much better.

I just got these headphones while the price really dropped about 40%. After getting these headphones I been listening to all the songs that I used to listen to on my Jaybird earbuds. I now know how much music I have been missing out on. These headphones are so good that I cannot think of any better ones that must be out there and especially for the price I paid. I would obviously never spend almost $400 on these if the price wasn't dropped. Sound = 5 Stars Fit = 5 Stars Weight = 4 stars Battery = 5 stars Build Quality = 5 stars
