I bought these for travel since I travel a bit for work. That was my justification but I bought them mainly because of the sale price of $250. If they were full price, I'd say absolutely don't buy and get the Bose QC35's. Don't get me wrong, these are absolutely fantastic headphones. I'm listening to music even when I'm not in the mood just for the experience of the headphones. Satisfied with purchase, but once again, at full price just go for the ones I mentioned earlier. Noise cancellation is great when music playing, without music--it's just so-so. The build quality is also very rigid, which I appreciate. Makes them feel durable.

The price is ridiculous but I needed headphones that mute out noise while listening to music and doing homework but it has a few odd bumps on the product... And the customer service at bestbuy wont let me return it due to that

I usually hear songs loudly. This headphones is amazing and serving my purpose very well. The noise cancellation is amazing. You don't get headaches even after long use, which is usually a case with headphones.
One more Reason I would say to prefer this(this reason mattered to me) over Bose is its trendy look.
I would say a great buy for the money.

Beats no longer have extended warranty at Best Buy.
I’ve used beats studio for the past 6+ years since mid-2009 (beats owned by dr. dre & Monster Cable), I’ve had 3 different sets during these 6 years, I use them for my daily gym and for my home PC, my 3rd set broke after close to 2 years of usage, luckily I had Extended 2 Year Warranty (Ex2W), BB honored by replacing it with new one, I decided to pay the difference & go with the new wireless matte black unit as well as purchase Ex2W this past Dec2014, I had 2 issues with them:
1st: when using them, via Bluetooth, experienced considerable loss in volume with my Samsung Galaxy S4, but when connecting to iPad same wireless way, no loss in sound
2nd issue: in less than 2 months, one of the ear cups soft cushion tore, took it back to BB, and honored the Ex2W but was told I would get refunded the money I paid for Ex2W and that BB would no longer offer the Ex2W for beats headphones, due to Apple no longer honoring this.
The matte black were out of stock, only had them in the new Titanium color and 2 open box units red & blue, got home, charged them and went to gym, right speaker had no sound at all, went back again to BB, exchanged them for yet another Titanium unit, but I opened them right there at the store, this 2nd Titanium unit had speaker snapping, crackling or popping, I could not believe it, got a 3rd one opened right there at BB, same story, to give the beats benefit of doubt, connected the beats to a different smartphone than my Samsung Galaxy S4, with a Note 4, then to a HTC One, also tried it with computes in the Geek Squad area, all had the same problem of speaker snapping, popping, .. until Titanium unit was connected to an iPhone 6, unit sounded awesome!, could it be that because beats are now owned by Apple, they will no longer be compatible to any other hardware outside of Apple??, or is it that the Titanium units at the Brownsville TX BB store, were from a bad production lot?
Has anybody else had this same problem with the Titanium wireless beats?

I wear my beats to the gym 4-5 times a week. The ANC works very well. I can't hear anything but what I want to hear. They are comfortable and don't move when I run. They tip a little when I do weights because I move to all different positions , but they don't fall off. Love love love my birthday present.

If you like walking around listening to your music like you are at the artists concert then these are the headphones for you. I have tried the new Bose wireless and these are better. I like to get in the zone when I am listening to music on these Beats and you will not be disappointed.
Noise cancelling works to perfection on flights, public transit, and times when you don't want to hear people around you.

The sound quality is well above expectations. Noise canceling is near flawless. I can work in a busy, loud cube farm and eliminate the unwanted sounds and enjoy my music. I can take a phone call with this unit as well and the experience is very pleasing. I would highly recommend this product for all considering it. Well worth the cost.

Great headphones but hurts the ears

I am a sound freak... and I really likes the lows, mids and even highs in this headphone ... however this headphone cannot sustain the highest volume from an iphone ...it starts breaking up...however if you keep a point or two down in volume it is good... the main problem with this is , after long usage my ear started hurting ... and also the noise cancellation wasn't good

I fly a lot and my old Beats snapped on me so I decided on investing in a good pair of headsets for my flights. It was between these and Bose and I decided to go with Beats for the sound quality and especially that base for some of those songs and definitely for those action films onboard. I will say even though this headset is advertised as noise canceling headsets, they are not entirely like the Bose. You will still hear the engines roaring if the volume isn't loud enough but I don't mind the hum of the engines.

OK sound-Poor Quality

My first impressions were that they looked nice, but they are very uncomfortable. The headband is adjusted to my tiny head butthe right side is pushed against my head and this makes it very uncomfortable. So I turn it on through the AUX included cable to see the wired sound, and the first thing I heard was a white noise on both sides but it is much heavier on the right side. So I try to ignore it. I turn on some of my favorite music and I listen. My first thoughts were that though the white noise is still there, and the sound quality is not very good for the high price and I think the only good thing is the low's like base. I wore them for 10 minutes and my ears already hurt, and because of that white noise, I have a ringing in my right ear. Also it seems that the right ear is also much more loud that the left. I defiantly would not recommend this to anyone. The high price for the poor quality and performance of them is not good, and it would be much smarter to invest in some Sennheiser headphones that are German made with much higher comfortably and sound.

It is after much reservation that I went ahead and picked up a "Beats by Dre" now "Beats by Apple" product.. I come from the era of Sony DJ headphones when $170 was an arm+leg for headphones.. So when Monster first came out with Beats by Dre, naturally I was against the ridiculously overpriced cans! Last year I heard the Beats Studio and they rocked my socks off, so I was eager for the new Bluetooth wireless headphones to come out. First impression-I got these from Best Buy so they're not fake-what happened to the socks rockin' sound? I'll admit, before picking these up I was researching online and I found much talk that the bass kick was reduced in the latest Studio models.. well they weren't kidding!
5-Stars for design & appearance! I got the matte black and these things look darn sexy! I really like 'hidden' function buttons, no big & ugly buttons for play/pause, forward/back.. It's very sleek & elegant, and for the most part comfortable as well. I am noticing that after a few hours of continuous listening, I do need to take them off and let my ears breathe.
3-Stars for sound! I've only been listening to these over Bluetooth, and the sound is average, at best. I have to turn the volume up quite a bit to get a decent listening experience. After a few straight days of listening, I put on my Skullcandy Crushers and I was immediately reminded of what my preferred listening style is #bass pumping, giving my face a massage#. I'm pretty sure I'll be returning my Beats Studio Wireless before my 15-day window closes. As great as the look, design, and feel are, I did not pay $400 for average sound!
