There looked heavier, but are a little more flimsy than expected. Leads one to believe they are not worth it. Sound quality is awesome! Keeps sound out, good with talking on the phone too. It's extremely loud, so turning it up won't be smart on your ears. The headphones, however, can take it. They should only be $50 more than the wires, not the whole $100. Overall good product. Especially for Planes, airports, etc.
