Agonizing decision but worth the time
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have NEVER spent so much time researching or auditioning a product, which by the way Best Buy, you do not make an easy task. One prominent BB in my area had zero Beats on display. Anyway, the decision came down to a pair of JBL's and the Beats. Utilizing a few major criteria, female vocals, piano timbre, bass presence without muddling and brass reproduction, it was a tough call, especially given the fact that the Beats are a bit more expensive. However, when it all came down, the Beats won the battle. What is really amazing about these cans is that they sound wonderful while listening inside the house but are just as comfortable and effective at blocking the noise while on the riding mower. My only reservation is durability as I have read some terrible reviews on these as well as other headsets. I suppose that remains to be seen. One thing is for sure, I'll be back with a follow up if these things show any signs of failure.
