I have owned and 'store tested' many different types of headphones over the years, and will acknowledge that some low-cost headphones can provide excellent sound quality and some high-priced headphones can be less than stellar - do your research and shop around! I never thought I wanted wireless AND sound cancelation... I saw people flying using them and thought that made sense if you were a frequent flyer for example, but they were always far too expensive to be worth it to me... I also didn't like some of the Bluetooth executions in the past. I finally got fed up with my wired solution for mowing and working around the house (wire catching on everything plus just getting worn out) so started shopping - saw these on sale and thought - hmmm.... worth checking. Some quick web research saw a lot of positive results and people thinking these were a great value even at the higher cost. Took the chance and am VERY happy. Sound quality was a step higher than I thought, and while the sound canceling is not nearly as good as some of the top offerings out there, it still adds to the experience nicely. These are quality built, solid yet lightweight, comfortable but snug enough to not slip off during moderate activity. The controls are easy and work well, the Bluetooth range is great, and the volume range is good. The case and included cables are also quality and a nice touch. I'd say the only thing I can think of as a negative is the slightly annoying issue of having to re-pair them with just about all my devices every time where other devices keep their pairing (but that is pretty quick and easy).

This is my second pair of Beats, the first pair are wired over the ear. I wanted this new pair for Bluetooth/ noise canceling and rechargeable battery. These have good over ear coverage and sound good with a range of music genre. The battery life has lasted me 8-10 hrs of use and standby time mixed. Bluetooth connection is seamless and fast, controls on headset work nice. Talk quality is surprisingly good, I speak at a normal level and am heard clearly. I prefer over the ear for a range of reasons and these do not disappoint. Worth the purchase, recommend to family and friends.

I was pleasantly surprise by how much better this is over the Solo3s. A Lot more comfortable and actually far better sound, especially for the range of old school Hard Rock and Progressive music I listen to. The overall convenience of wireless and intuitive controls make for me. Granted these are not HiFi quality but then considering that the source of music is from an iPhone, the quality of the highly compressed sound has its limits. Still, the sound profile of these headsets can be surprising, its nice to hear things I never heard before with songs i'll listened to for years.

they really cancel out the sound. Hold a charge for a long time and they are very comfortable. Highly recomened!

These beats studio wireless headphones sound amazing! The wireless is a must have, although I am a few issues when trying to connect. Overall, love the design and sound quality.

I feel the bass is a little better in the Beats than the Bose. Very comfortable and the sound is awesome.

Expensive but that's what you get with GREAT quality. Only thing is, because it's wireless, music can tend to be choppy. Besides that, great sound, great bass, and fits snug.

These are the best headphones I've owned. The sound is quite a few steps above all of the headphones I've owned, including the Beats Solo. They fit on the ear well. They are okay for noise cancellation, but not the best. I did not purchase them for noise cancellation, but they do an adequate job. The sound is the most impressive aspect of this model, delivering a great experience for any song you will listen to.

These headphones are comfortable and feel solid and durable. They may be a little overpriced. I have a few pair of over the ear headphones and the right price point for these in my opinion would be in the low $200 but you pay for brand here and you don't get much better than an Apple made product from a customer satisfaction/service standpoint. Battery life is pretty good and sound quality as fantastic.

After reading a few reviews I thought I would try these Dr. Dre Beats Studio 2 wireless headphones out. I wanted to go to a Best Buy store and A-B them against others such as the Bose QuietComfort 35 Mk II, but the Studio 2's were not available in store so I went ahead and ordered them online. Here is my review: The Good: Very comfortable Fold up compactly Noise cancelling is good The Bad: Sound quality wasn't all that great. I listened to Classic Rock, Classical, Jazz and Instrumental music through them using Bluetooth sent from my new PC. The sound just wasn't all that clear; I kept turning them up, hoping that would make a difference but it didn't. In fact my old JVC HA-D510 wired on-ear headphones were much clearer. In particular the treble and mids were muffled on the Beats Studio 2's. So I returned them. Thankfully Best Buy had no problem taking them back. I will check out the Sony WH-1000XM2 and Bose QuietComfort 35 II next time I am in Best Buy although I'll probably wait until after the holidays to see if they go on sale. Note: I bought these originally to 'tune out' a noisy coworker who is constantly talking loudly on the phone; they did a good job of cutting down on that, due partially to the over-the-ear design. But in the end I couldn't handle the subpar audio quality.

These wireless Beats Studios are definitely worth it. They are a little expensive but worth the extra money for the wireless feature. They sound great and pair very easily to Mac and iPhone. They are comfortable and fit over the head very well. The battery lasts pretty long and I have had no problems with it.

I was worried cause I've heard that these were mainly for Apple users. But I was surprised how easy it was to pair and how great they sound. First I charged it, then turned it on, then to pair I held the power button down for few secs until the lights flashed and I think they changed color. Then on my phone turned Bluetooth on and it showed up right away and asked to pair. Very easy! Love the headphones!

Battery life is exactly as advertised, very comfortable on. Sound is excellent so far.

The sound was really good, its very comfortable and I love the fact that it folds relatively compact so it can fit into large pockets. I also bought the Bose Soundlink wireless over ear II for side by side comparison and the sound and comfort of the Beats was superior. I returned the Bose and kept the Beats. On the inside of the Bose ear cups is a hard plastic mount and it dug into my ears so it wasn't that comfortable either. I would have given this 5 stars, but my first set developed a crackling after 2 months, apple store replaced the unit under warranty but that shook my confidence a bit.

These headphones have a great sound and fit! I love how comfy they are around my ears.
