They have a little noise cancelling (it was just the right amount for me). I didn't test the battery life, but no complaints thus far about it. The only thing that I thought could be better about these head phones were the buttons. The play, forward,backward, and volume buttons are too close together.

I can walk around without worrying about my pet animals getting caught on the chord. The sound quality is amazing and they are comfortable to wear.
