It's all up to you on whether you want the wire or not! The volume up and down is discreet and they are actually there during wireless mode. They charge pretty quick and they give the best audio; they provide the extra power if you like your music loud >:]

They love them and can get shots off during pregame basketball warmups and leave their phones on the bench. They have great blue tooth range and the can clearly hear their music from anywhere in the gym. I got them on sale at BestBuy for $180 but would not have paid list price.
