He wanted a head phone that went over his ear and rather than purchasing something that would cost multiple hundreds of dollars, he went after these bc of the color and style! Bought these on sale before heading on a trip overseas. They were very comfortable and the music was more balanced than I expected. The noise cancelling is decent enough on the plane but there were some noises that were more muffled than cancelled. Overall good purchase at $250. At $350 I would get one of the class leaders, Sony or Bose.

First time investing in wireless headphones and it was between these and the Bose. I didn't like the way the Bose fit and these were amazing when I tried them out in store. Even without music or anything playing it shuts the whole world out. I will say that I took them on my run a few times and my ears got sweaty but thats the price you pay for greatness. :)

Great headphone!!! Best pair of headphone I have ever gotten

I have BeatsX, Powerbeats3, and these Beats Studio3 - all in this color. I like the color and for some reason, this color of the Beats Studio was significantly cheaper than the other colors during the holidays. You can spend weeks of time researching headphones reviews. I went with Beats Studio for a few reasons: 1) Apple pairing is super easy and they are always available on all of my devices - including Apple TV. I use them to watch TV at night and can quickly witch back to my phone. Smoother than Bluetooth pairing with devices that only connect to one device at a time. 2) Sound quality is fun. I rarely have time to just sit and listen - instead I’m always doing something while listening and so I don’t need “audiophile” quality (not saying there’s any issue with the sound quality on the Studio but gave up trying to find the “best sound”). I enjoy the sound and you can tweak a bit with equalizers on your phone. 3) Value. With the extra discount on this color, it made the selection over other headphones easier. I got this for around $180.
