Definitely does a great job with sound cancellation. Used them on a plane trip and it felt as if I was in the theater watching a movie.

I didn’t realize you could replace the cushions, so I bought these. After opening them and trying them out, I realized the sound quality was a lot worse than the studio 2’s. I did a direct sound comparison with the same music and the 2's blew these away. I ordered replacement cushions for $20 on Amazon for the 2's and returned these

Crisp highs and very low lows. I can’t hear any background noice while using them. My only complaint is that they are really tight. I may bend them later to losen them, but I just can’t bring myself to bend such an expensive set of headphones.
