These headphones are great. The base is deep and watching a movie either on a iPhone or Apple TV the surround sounds and Dolby Atmos are wonderful.

Good audio and volume nice look not great for gym overall not bad

These were purchased for an elderly man who has hearing problems. They have done the job quite well. Great price through Best Buy. Very happy. These were paired with a TV to keep the neighbors from getting angry with loud TV volume.

I bought this as a gift for my honey. He loves these headphones. He feels like they complete his gym look. He wears them for no reason at times. They block out all noise. He said if there were 10 stars he would give 10.

The wireless is just as powerful as the wired. I owned the red and black studio beats back a few years ago and they were great as well . I was expecting the wireless to be weaker. But it isn't . The gold and black is a really good looking color too the packaging is superb . You'll even want to keep the box .

Perfect for use on the plane. Cut out engine noise and allowed us to pair two headsets to one iPad.

Comfortable and stay on my head during light workouts

This is my preliminary view. I have the first general beats studio and wanted to try the beats studio 3. They look identical. The sound quality is nearly the same. The noise canceling in the 3 is slightly better. Perhaps the biggest different is that the 3 are not as bass heavy as the first-generation ones. On a side note, I have had the beats for 3 years. I had to replace the ear cups due to wear and tear. I used them for the gym for a little while but then mainly used them when I traveled (plane, car, hotel, etc.). The replacement cups were inexpensive and easy to install. I would not recommend for gym because the cups are not water resistance. The phones are a bit weighted but the ear cups feel comfortable on the ear. If you have the 1st generation or the beats 2.0, then you may not need the beats 3, unless you are one who collects headphones. I got mines for a bit over $200; I used a BB gift card. You can price match from amazon.com and Walmart. Note that price will vary according the color. The black phones tends to be a bit cheaper; these are the ones that I have. I hope this helps.
