So close to great, but ...

From a performance standpoint, they are what the overall reviews say they are. Very good, but not great. I am not an audiofile, but the sounds sounded fine to me. I would only say the noise cancelation is subpar to the top-of-the-line Sonys and Bose 35II. It would help a lot if Beats made a bigger ear cuff that fit over the ears. These felt more like on-the-ear headphones so ambient sound trickled in. But if your aim it to be a fashion stalwart, my all means, the drop in performance versus the other two is minimal.

Just what I needed

Great sound quality, and blackout noise cancellation. I like having the volume controls and play/pause button built into the side of the headphones. The microphone in the headphones works surprisingly well. I also like the option of going back to the standard audio jack since I take these on the plane all the time.

Unbelievably comfortable

After awhile most headphones will give me a headaches based on the pressure it is putting on my head and ears. These I have worn for 6 hour straight with no issues!

The sound is incredible and all their married siblings want a pair after trying them out

Best Beats Yet!

The bass has been toned down but is still punchy. The mids and highs are much better heard. Also the noise canceling on these are much better than the two.
