Out of all the ear buds I have tried. Both inexpensive and now the most expensive, Dr Dre did the best. Although finding the perfect rubber ear piece was challenging. Overall I really like them.

I purchased these earbuds based only on the brand. I own the Beats Studio headphones which are GREAT! Back when Beats was partnered with Monster. But these earbuds were jus' aweful. Wouldn't stay in the ear from jus' walkin', not even runnin'. I listen to all types of music, mostly Hip-Hop. The bass on most songs were causin' so much distortion that it jus' got annoyin'. I changed the eq settings on my iPhone & iPod, but the sound was still bad. It only took 2 days for me to decide to return them. Purchased Bose earbuds, same price, HUGE difference in sound & quality. Lookup Bose earbuds, you won't be sorry!

Great sound n easy to travel with when packing for a dsy trip or week trip. Great case that come with too.

The fit was extremely poor, they actually hurt the inside of my ear canal.

MY SON BOUGHT THESE ABOUT 9 MONTHS AGO. A TINY WIRE BROKE, LUCKILY HE ALSO PURCHASED THE EXTENDED WARRANTY! WE RETURNED THE ITEM WITH OUR RECEIPT TO THE LOCAL BEST BUY. THEY HONORED THE EXTENDED WARRANTY AND HE GOT A NEW PAIR, NO PROBLEMS AT ALL !

Beats by Dre Tour 2.0 Headphones. I recently purchased these headphones because I had read some decent reviews for them on how they upgraded the fit from the original tour headphones that I had a couple years back. Overall the look and fit were extremely improved and stayed in my ears when I was working out. Ascetically, I feel they have something other headphones do not have. Simplicity. I like that there are not neon colors everywhere on them and they do not have crazy control buttons all over the cord. They have an effective, small, control attachment with ways to change the song, replay it, pause, fast-forward, and even control the volume which is great. I never once have to take my phone out of my pocket when working out to change the song. Originally I had bought these for just everyday use on campus but for anyone looking for active sport headphones these would be great! . As mentioned above the fit is great. Once you find out which rubber ear piece best fits your ear, they will stay in perfectly. The sound quality is pretty good for ear buds. Beats prides themselves on making the headphones capable of hearing bass. This addition is nice but if you listen to heavy bass music too loud, you risk the chance of blowing the speaker in the headphones. I think this happens to most ear buds. On sound quality alone I would give them a solid 4 out of 5 stars. The only negative that I have for the ear buds is that they cord attachment ends start to come undone after months of use. What I mean is that they start to show the actual wiring because the connection becomes un glued or attached. This is a problem in particular when moving around in the headphones. Sometimes, mine will pause the music or change songs without me touching the controls or my phone. It can get a little annoying sometimes but its not a regular occurrence. I ended up just super gluing the end back together and the problem no longer occurs. Its still an issue I hope they fix for the next generation of ear buds they come out with. I realize I may be a little hard on the headphones also, so it could just be my wear and tear of the product. Overall, the product was more then what I expected. The capabilities they have because they do indeed stay in your ears is endless. I will continue to buy their products and hope to see them keep evolving and upping the standards for ear buds.

Never had any beats products and needed a new set from my monster miles Davis. They went bad and I didn't use them a Ton. I also wanted a set of buds that had the capability to take calls and be an excellent set of headphones, I found them!

I found them to be too stiff. The plastic inserts were soft but when in the ears were very rigid.

Not made by monster anymore so quality and durability is lacking; price is high due to popularity.
