I've owned the older Beats Tours before this, and I have to say - These are a great improvement. The controls and wire have been improved and made thinner. This solved the problem of the wire and control weighing the earbuds down and causing them to fall off. These earbuds has the same similar sound to the old ones - If not, better. The sound leak is really good on these. It's only noticeable in a quiet room with 100% volume. This is perfect for me because I am a student, and like to listen to my music at a medium, medium-high volume without others knowing what I'm listening to. I'm not an audiophile, but the sound quality is very good for everyday use. I use these with my macbook, and on my phone for listening to music. The sound is a little more on the bass side, compared to other earbuds - Which I love. The sound comes down to individuals' preferences. I personally like the sound of them. I recommend these for everyone!

These are great headphones for all types of music. Great case and different ear plugs.

Decided to give them a shot. Sound quality was great but the audio started cutting in and out after 2 months of owning them. Trust me I had taken VERY good care of them! Also, I had trouble getting these to comfortably stay in my ear but everyone's ear is different. The cord is very thick and heavy and I think the added weight would pull the earbuds out. I was offered a replacement but eventually took them back to best buy and traded them out for some Sennheisers. If you do buy these (not a good idea), get the warranty too because you'll probably be needing it!

I found out about these earbuds from the Beats website a couple weeks ago, and was enticed by the wingtip attachments for the earbuds. I had previously purchased Beats Tour (1.0's) a little over a year ago, and found myself not using them very often because they would commonly fall out of my ears. This led me to find an alternative with better fit and ability to stay in the ears (Bose IE2s). With the Tour 2.0s however, that problem is GONE! The included wingtip addons come in three sizes and feel almost as comfortable as the Bose IE2s' wingtips (with the proper size fitted for your ears, obviously). In terms of sound, the highs are nice and crisp as in the previous model, and the bass is also the same if not better. The tangle-free cable is also nice (though slightly less wide than the previous model), and the included carrying case is durable and attractive. Overall, I was impressed with this revision to the product over the previous model. If price isn't a huge factor for you (they are obviously priced kind of high for earbuds), then I'd say you should give them a try. My Bose IE2's will be going into retirement with the arrival of these buds!

So my old Beats Tours kicked the bucket. Since they don't sell the older version on them anymore at my Best Buy I upgraded to the new Beats Tour 2.0. I thought the quality of the older ones was impecable for in-ear headphones, but now that I have heard the new 2.0 the quality just doesn't even compare. They are so much crisper and clearer, plus they sit in the ear so much better. I was dissapointed that the other pair I had broke for a second time and hopefully the 2.0 last longer than one year. I haven't heard any other in-ear headphones with this kind of qulity.

I had the powerbeats the fit was alright. I must admit that the tours are better sounding and fit a lot better with the wing tips. The bass is incredible. My family is a beats family no regrets from the executive for son right down to the solos HD's for my daughter. Pick up the geek squad plan for sure for the in store replacement if something goes wrong. The store associates were friendly when I had to exchange my son's studios for the executives when the ear cup shorted out.

I just put In a review on these. Here it is a month later and my microphone/remote completely stopped working. Today is Monday, I last used Friday and they worked fine. These dre beat tours sound amazing. But they don't last for anything. I have the geek squad insurance thank god. These 2.0 actually replaced the originals I had(I guess 1.0) through the geek squad insurance. I got 6 of those replaced through geek squad within a year and half. This pair make 7!! But they all lasted over a month. This is unbelievable. Now I use them for 8-9(give or take) hours a day 5 days a week at work. It is a lot but for $150 it's really not. I would never buy these without insurance. 1 month and they're half useful to me right now( still sound really good). But I need easy access to on/off and volume. If I didn't have insurance I would have to send these is to beats and wait a month. Come on Beats this is crazy. $150. Gotta last longer then this. I rated it a 2 cuz I love the sound. I thought that deserved something.

i was going to buy some urBeats....but then saw on the beats website that they just released some new beats tour 2.0 headphones......so i bought these.....they are $50 more...but the way they are designed...it shoots the music into ur ear at the correct angle. i only have one problem.....the housing is plastic.....while on the urBeats its metal. BUT these sound better than urBeats.

I purchased these 2 days ago and will be returned on Monday. I have ALWAYS wanted a pair of these headphones. They look great and based on other Dr. Dre products - I was excited about how good they would sound. The packaging is awesome - it made me feel like the $150 was well spent before I even tried them! Truthfully, I don't think the sound is THAT good. You get 3 different sized earbuds to use. I am a 37 year old man and I needed large. The earphones simply will not stay in place. Let's make this clear. I use these at my desk. Not for walking, not for running and not at the gym... They are pretty heavy earbuds which is why they keep falling out - that paired with controller - I just don't see how they are supposed to stay in... If anyone could recommend another in ear product - Ill be all ears - no pun intended

These things rock!! Love the sound even the packaging is great. These are my second pair of dre beats I use them daily. Only issue I had was that one of the ear tips still had the rubber in the center. I wear them one the opposite side i.e. left bud in the right ear, 100 more times comfortable.

The clarity of sound is unmatched and the bass is phenomenal. I've heard parts of songs that I have never heard when wearing other headphones.

Overall it is an excellent product. Great crisp sound and fits in my ears well. The price seems a little high.

I have had two sets of Beat Tours in the past 6 mo. The first set was sent back (costing $30) due to the wiring going into left side ear bud coming out. Sent back under warranty and was replaced with new version of the Tour 2.0. Had these for about 1 month before I even noticed that the mic/ control talk wasn't working working. Now that I am now having to return the replacements is giving me a indication that the QC for beats is lacking. Now I'm in $180.00 for something that is garbage and am awaiting to see what I am about to receive back. If these are as good as they are touted then I shouldn't be experiencing this.

I first purchased two Beats Tours in April 2012 for my son and I. Within a month I had to replace mine because of one ear bud failing. Within a year my son replaced his because an ear bud failed. Then shortly I replaced mine again because the ear bud failed. They last about a year and then fail. The sound on the headphones is good, but their durability is poor. My suggestion is save your money and purchase other headphones. You are paying for the name on these. If you do insist on purchasing these, then I suggest obtaining the Best Buy warranty. I am glad I did.

Got these as a gift and since I was looking for earbuds thought these would be the best option but boy was I wrong. The flat wire gets as tangled as a regular wire. I've switched out all of the buds to get the right fit, I've also used the hooks to keep them in my ears but I find myself constantly adjusting them to hear the music. I will be returning them for something else

I went to the best buy on 21st and rock road in wichita ks. And I've had many different earphones over the past few years but I figured it was time to upgrade. I heard about beats headphones and how nice they were. They aren't cheap by any means but I felt like purchasing these items. So I did. Next thing I know 2 months down the road the left earphone barley plays and the earbud always falls out of my ear after about ten to twenty minutes of playing it. I couldn't return these things at best buy even though my warranty is through them. But the tell me I have to contact beats and have them warranty them which takes forever evidentially. And they won't refund your money for the product because I didn't purchase it off the beats website so I was stuck with them sending me a new pair every time they break until my warranty ran out. All I wanted to do was get a refund and buy the studio ones, and no matter how many people I talk to with best buy it seems like nobody can really help! Worst service I've ever had in my life!!!!

I purchased this headset with the hope of getting a higher quality headset for phone calls through my iphone and computer. The microphone on this headset does not work on the iphone. It works on other devices, such as a computer, but there is some issue when it is connected to an iphone. Beats customer services did not do anything to troubleshoot the problem. They told me that I could send it back to them and they would let me know in 4 weeks if there was a problem with the headset. So not only did I purchase a defective product from Beats, but the corresponding Beats customer service was also weak from my perspective. The sound was fine but not much different than the standard iphone headset. The fit of the ear buds was also a challenge. Save the $120 and buy or use the iphone headset that only costs $30. I have also had much better experiences with many different Bose products if you are looking for higher quality audio. I would not purchase a Beats product again.

Way overpriced. The sound quality is just average not what you'd expect from a 150 dollar earphones or from Beats. It stays in the ear but it loosens up anyway and you still have to adjust it. After returning these I went and bought Bose earbuds which are unbelievable

i wouldnt recondmend these earbuds cuz its to expensive n they dnt last long.

This is my first Beats and my last Beats. I've bought many brands of ear buds over the years and I keep going back to my Sonys. I brought the Tours home and compared the sound with my Sony MDREX38 and the Sony sounds so much more crisp, the bass on the Tours sound very muffled. I then had my wife do a comparison. She had never worn my Sonys. I had her close her eyes so that she does not see which brand I inserted in her ear. I played the same song, and after the test was done, she picked the Sonys as the better sound! Mind you, these are not the best Sony's.
