These are the best sounding, most comfortable, and lightweight wireless I own. I have AirPods but they aren't as comfortable and I'm always afraid I'll lose them. So these are awesome. They pair with ease and function seamlessly.

Build: Excellent build quality. Doesn't feel cheap like some of the budget Bluetooth earphones I've owned. The cords for the buds are flat, which means they never tangle, and the neckband is thin and flexible, but firm. It's all this soft touch matte plastic and rubber that feels really nice. I opted for the blue color and it's really nice. It's kind of a royal blue that's it crazy bright. The two little lumps on the cord where the electronics and batteries are housed look weird at first, but it's a great way to balance things out while making the whole package super slim. There's also a magnet in the bids so they sort of click together around your neck when you take them out. Keeps them out of the way. I kind of always have them on because that's so convenient. Quality, quality build. These are not the Beats of old. This feels more like an apple designed product. Fit: They come with a few tips and a few ear hooks that go inside the ear. I found the large tips to work best (as usual), and I added the large hooks too. They go inside your ear, not over it, and they're really comfortable (same soft matte rubber). I have worn these all day with no fatigue. Almost forgot I had them in. The earbuds themselves are slightly angled in, which helps get a good seal. Because the electronics sort of test on your collarbone, the cords don't tank the buds out with their weight. Also, because there's just enough slack between the electronic lump things, they don't pull when you turn your head. Sound: I do and have owned high quality studio cans and wired IEMs. These, of course, don't touch those in sound quality. But in terms of Bluetooth, they're great. The sound is not at all Beats-y, that is, it doesn't have booming, muddy bass. In fact, I'd go so far as to call them very balanced with a nice bass punch. The mids are clear and the highs are crisp. The low end has a punch but it's not muffled or muddy. I read some reviews that said the sound quality was poor, but I think those reviewers didn't take the ten minutes to figure out the right tip/hook combo because once they seal, they sound awesome. That's the last part of this. The seal, for passive noise isolation, is amazing. I only need the volume turned up halfway to think they sound a little too loud. And when they're at a good volume, I can't hear anything in the outside world. Range and pairing: I know you only pair them once, but the W1 chip did, in fact, make pairing even simpler than it already is. Further, my other Bluetooth earbuds/headphones would often not connect right away or frequently lose connection. These have never, I repeat, never lost connection and have never taken more than two seconds to pair. The range is ridiculous. I've walked to the second floor of my house with my iPhone 7 in the basement and there was not degradation or skipping. At the office I get up and walk away and only after I'm really far away do I lose sound. It's the best range I've experienced. Battery and charging: The battery goes 8 hours for me, as advertised. They take about 35-45 minutes to charge fully once empty. The best for me though, is the 25%/2hr charge in five minutes. I'll often go through my workday and drain almost all of the battery. I pop them on the charger for 5 minutes and I truly get at least two more hours out of them, enough for my train ride home. As an added bonus, they charge via lightning and come with a 6 inch black, Beats branded lightning cable. It's great to not need a micro USB charger for anything now. Bottom line, I LOVE these headphones. They sound fantastic, have an amazing range, fit wonderfully, etc. If they go on sale again, I'd say run and buy a pair.

This is the second set of BeatsX I've purchased and love them. I replaced my nephews LGs sue to the extender wider popping. He loves these so much better. GREAT PRODUCT!!!

I purchased online the Beats X in Blue brand new last week on Best Buy for an awesome sale of $75.99, $75.00 off the retail price of $149.99, and it came yesterday and I was very excited. The package quality was very premium just like every Beats product. It came with ear tips and wingtips but i did not need them for my ears because the ear tips that were already on the Beats X fit perfectly. The one thing I was disappointed about was that I did not receive a three month trial for Apple Music in the box and I have watched unboxings of the Beats X on YouTube and they came with a 3 month trial but mine didn't come with it. Here are many of the Features that I love about the Beats X : 1.) The Blue color is really nice and it stands out which I really like. The looks department is really nice even though there are still wires involved. 2.) Apple W1 Chip- It was extremely easy to pair with my iPhone 8 Plus, my iPad and my Apple Watch and it stays connected to your i Cloud account throughout all your Apple devices. It also shows the battery life of the Beats X in the widgets on the lock screen on IOS 12 which is also a nice touch. Yes, even though the Beats X is an Apple product, you can still connect it with any other device that is non Apple but you wont get the extremely fast pairing process and you wont be able to see the battery life of the Beats as well so as long as your device has Bluetooth it will work with these Beats. It works well with my HP Windows 10 Laptop with Bluetooth with no issues. 3. The battery life is amazing. 8 hours of battery life and it has fast fuel which you can charge for only 5 minutes and you can get more than 2 hours of playback and 45 minutes of charging gets you a full 8 hour charge. It also uses a lightning cable which is very useful especially since most people have iphones now a days. 4. The sound quality is great, less bass than i was expecting from Beats but it sounds fantastic, just a little tinny for my tastes. And these headphones are very comfortable to wear. In conclusion, these headphones are great for casual users and for people who don't like heavy bass that the Power Beats 3 gives. Defiantly worth 76 bucks and buy it before it goes back up in price, this is the perfect time to buy these, don't wait for Black Firday because most likely this price won't come around again!

The beats X is great for those on the run and those who love the gym

The BeatsX Earphones are by far the best wireless in ear headphones on the market right now. Clear crisp sound, with some added base you do not get with any other brand. I tried Bose and Sony and their different versions, and the Beats passes them in sound quality, levels and clarity. And they also make great earphones for taking calls as well as the integrated phone mic which I have never heard a complaint from anyone on the other end about the qualtiy or level of my voice talking back to them. I still have my older Beats Tour wired headphones as wired has always been a better sound, and these are now getting more use than the wired ones as they match very well. Light and easy to wear as the cable lays on your neck, with easy controls to reach, find and use. And the battery lasts almost all day with constant use. Highly Recommended and a great value on sale for $99 as I got mine or regular price.

I must start saying, I've owned several headphones/earphones, and was weary of the Beats brand due to previous issues with some of their products. I myself owned the Beats Pro's when they were still Monster, while good they weren't the most comfortable and ended up being outclassed, in my opinion, by several cheaper models from other manufacturers. My daily headphones for ~1.5+ years have been some V-Moda M-100s that I absolutely love! While they will still be my go-to headphone for long trips, flights, and long listening while working from home, I must say the BeatsX will be taking over most of the time. I never realized how nice wireless would be, and let me tell you they deliver. Setup with my iPhone, and Macs was dead simple, the W1 chip made it a breeze and once setup on one device it's selectable on all of them via iCloud, now that is cool! The thing I didn't realize was how nice the Fast Fuel is for use, my job requires me to be on several hour long conference calls with regularity, so as soon as one of those wraps up a quick 5-10 minutes on the charger and I'm good to go for the rest of my shift! I could see this being super useful when traveling, if you have 5 minutes before a flight you'd be ready to listen for most of the flight! Now the convenience is big, but how do they sound? Honestly, great, I was pretty impressed, I always compare to my first decent earphones the Klipsch Image S4 which had a pretty good sound signature, if not a bit bass heavy. These remind me of that, but with better bass, highs aren't exaggerated which is great because you don't get ear fatigue or pain from sibilance that I sometimes get with my Klipsch X7i's. They seem to handle a wide variety of music well, I like hard rock, classic rock, and the latest EDM, pop, hip-hop. I haven't tried anything like classical, but I imagine it wouldn't be a bad experience here! Noise isolation is another big point, these might not be great for cycling or jogging due to their ability to buffer outside sounds, I can't hear someone talking to me from 4ft away if my music is at about half volume. There is a bit of microphonics in these earphones I think due to the weight of the battery assembly hanging around the back of your neck. With music on the microphonics are minimal and don't bother me, your mileage may vary. Fit is great with a variety of provided earbuds, including some wings to help hook into your ears, the default buds installed in the box seem to be the best fit for me so far. I really enjoy these, a lot more than I expected, I bought them thinking, well if I don't like them I'll simply return and wait for the AirPods to become more widely available. Well I can't say I will be doing that at all, I really like them, a lot! Also it comes with 29.97 USD in credit to use on iTunes, or for 3 months of Apple Music, as someone heavily invested in the ecosystem and an existing subscriber this was like a 30 dollar discount right out of the box!

I was slightly skeptical (and frankly, a bit worried) with how much of a commitment I was going to be making with dishing out $149 dollars on a pair of wireless headphones like these BeatsX. Having previously owned a pair of Beats EP's for something over a month before eventually deciding to return them, I questioned whether or not I was making the right decision in trading down for something else in size, at a slightly higher price (I bought the EP's at $129, as you know, BeatsX's retail for $149), and potentially be much more apt to loss, theft or reduced time of functionality (BeatsX earphones run on re-chargeable integrated batteries, EP's are plug-in). Boy was I wrong. Having used them for more than a month, now almost two months, the earphones show off as a great example to quantify that sound quality does not have to plummet if what you seek is portability and efficiency, and yet be able to provide you with seamless connectivity. I understand the asking price may be a bit difficult for some, and I can totally see where you're coming from. Though, if what you seek is great sound, paired with incredibly smooth connectivity, and peace of mind with magnetized earphones to prevent loss (they hang around your neck, with nice length, and magnetize together at each end), then these are the earphones for you. Rest assured, you won't go wrong.

Beats are tuned to be bass heavy. That is a fact and these are no different. In terms of sound quality, I am comparing them to a Bose QC 20 noise canceling earphone and the Beats X sound better (both are bass heavy), are lighter and easier to pair. Plus, using the iPhone Control Center I can see the current battery level. What makes these a very good value for money to me: 1. Good sound quality (assuming one likes bass) 2. Super convenient pairing and connection with iPhone or Apple Watch. Amazed at how fast and stable the connection is. 3. Two little magnets hold the ear pods in place when not in use. This is a nice usability touch and lets me use these earphones all day at work with no issues. 4. The fast charging is excellent. 5 minutes gives you 1 hour of listening and 45 mins give you 8 hours! 5. The microphone is effective in noisy environments. At $99, I believe these are the very best earphones you can get. I have so many - from Bose (multiple), B&O and Beats (X and Studio Wireless) and the X is now my go-to earphone.
