Now that my kids are getting old enough to watch movies, it is important to me to have the great Disney films in our home library. Often this means purchasing used copies but unfortunately when they go out of print for so long, they can be quite expensive. Thankfully, though, Beauty and the Beast has come back into print for a 25th anniversary edition and we are looking forward to watching it as a family.

Love retellings of Beauty and Beast, but had never watched the original, finally bought on Blu-ray when it came on sale. It looked really good, especially on a 65" 4K TV using a 4K Blu-ray player. As much as I want to only buy movies on 4K from now on, Disney has been slow to jump on that bandwagon, so at least this is a solid Blu-ray release that I'm glad I have in my collection.

This movie speaks for itself, so I won't do an in-depth review... truly, one of the Disney greats, and coincidentally, the first movie I ever saw in theaters. It has some of the best music ever put together for an animated movie, a wonderful, lighthearted story, and is a 5/5 and a must-own. The Bluray offers nice audio and video quality, but I couldn't really tell it was an upgrade over a standard DVD.

Absolutely had to get once this came out, one of my FAVE Disney movies. This copy has 2 discs- the blu ray has 3 different versions of the movie (original 92, original + an extra scene with the song "Becoming Human Again" and a sing along version. Also on the blu ray is extra special features and such. The 2nd disc is DVD copy of just the original movie. This combo pack also comes with digital code.

OK. So this is the 3rd DVD I have bought of Beauty and the Beast. This one has some new bonus features that were enjoyable. The sneak peek at the live action movie was a treat. I felt that the picture quality was improved over the Diamond edition, which also contains the same 3 versions. This is one of the family's favorite Disney films. If you already own the 3D Diamond Edition not much new here.

This movie started the 90s Disney powerhouse still good to this day

I have always loved beauty and the best. Ever since I came to this poor prevential town I knew that I needed a great movie to watch, and let me tell you, no one fills that void like Gaston. I asked my wife if it was okay to buy this movie and it turns out she loves it too! Be my guest she said! And then I bought her a rose on the way home. I love watching this movie in the west wing of my house.

The Disney Signature series is for die-hard Disney fans, who want more than just to view a classic Disney animated feature. Beautifully digitized in the Blu-ray format, this version of the Best Picture Oscar nominated film yields almost 3-D performance on HD equipment. The extras are abundant and well worth the extra couple of bucks needed to buy the Signature series version of the film.

Whoopsies, I reviewed both this and the Beauty and the Beast (2017) movie on 4K with steelbook. Well, both movies are great, but this 1991 one is better, and it comes in the better steelbook. The steelbook is beautiful! And I got the movie with the steelbook very quickly! Great service!

For those that missed this release a few years ago, this is a great addition to any movie lover's collection. A title that is sure to bring on that nostalgic feeling for anyone who was a Disney movie lover when they were growing up. Hopefully a newfound favorite for kids growing up nowadays. Wish there was a 3D release like there was preciously, but nevertheless you're getting a great film.

My all-time favorite Disney movie, featuring great characters and songs. Everything was perfect, from the opening narration and opening musical number, to the stand out ballroom scene, to the classic Disney happy ending. This was the first animated movie to be nominated for the best picture Academy Award, before they created a separate category for animated films.

This is a 2 disc set including a 4k transfer of the original 1991 animated movie, a bluray which includes both the original and the special edition version with the additional song Human Again added to the movie and a digital copy which includes both versions and an assortment of other special features.

I remember first seeing this for the first time. I not a big fan of animation fims. Occasionally I'll see one that I like but for the most part of I'm not usually drawn to them. I think the big reason I enjoy this one is because it got a great story that I already knew. I also love the steel book it came in.

I don't even have any little girls, daughters, or nieces to watch this one with; but I love a good Disney Animated story and this one has some history because it is Disneys first animated film introducing computer and hand drawings together.....I know my mother will enjoy it with me and its out just in time to introduce the live version coming in theatres this year....

Tale as old as time, True as it can be, Barely even friends, Then somebody bends, Unexpectedly, Just a little change, Small to say the least, Both a little scared, Neither one prepared, Beauty and the beast. If you just read those lyrics in the voice of Angela Lansbury... then you already know what's up. If you didn't, then purchase this film immediately!!!!

Young at heart adults and kids will enjoy this movie.

I have 3 kids that are all adults. This was one of the their favorite movies and they have it on VHS. I bought 3 Blue Ray for their XMAS stockings. Two texted me on the day it was released and asked was Santa getting it for them. Santa will definitely deliver. I bought an additional one for myself and the clarity is exceptional. Disney is and always will be a great buy.

Purchased this as a refresher for the now released live action film of the same name. This Disney classic has been re-mastered amazingly in this Blu Ray version. By default the Theatrical version will play when you start the film but this Blu-Ray also the includes the longer "Special Edition" which has a new song among some of the differences form the original..
