The details carried over from the animated original are spot on. I actually enjoyed the live version better then the animated.

The animated version is one of my wife's all-time favorites. I purchased this for her, but was concerned about the live version and also was not sure about the female lead from Harry Potter-- thought they could have done a better job casting. But--- they loved it.

This was a wonderful remake of a classic. My son who is 2 loves it and wasn't to dark for him which was a slight fear of mine
