Faithful rendition to the animated classic with some good historical additions. Steel book artwork among the best I've seen.

I took my family to see this at the theater twice, and had to buy it when it came out. Wonderful film, and beautifully done.

Our family loved the original cartoon version, and somehow Disney made it even better with the live version. The story is deeper, Emma Watson was born to play Belle - intelligent and courageous, and the characters are fleshed out without overwhelming the story.

I bought this dvd because it's one my favorite movies and It's a great dvd to watch with the family on a rainy day.

As someone who grew up watching the original, I had some issues with this version. That's all just me being a grown up Disney kid. The movie itself was good although they did change several things. If you can get past the original you will enjoy this version.
