Costumes, sets, and story are amazing! Emma's singing was very auto-tuned, however.

This is great live action of the original. Emma Watson makes a fantastic Belle.

I truly like the steel books Best Buy offers with all of the beautiful pictures. It makes a wonderful prelude to a beautiful movie. The cinematography was gorgeous, and the acting was flawless. There was a certain scene I didn't particularly care for, but that's a personal choice. Most people will probably overlook it. They did a fantastic job bringing this story to life, and I feel it's the best job Disney has done in this regard. I don't always care for their animated/live actiton translations, but this was a winner!!!

This is a re-make of a cartoon version. They did a good job. would recommend.

This is exactly how live action remakes should be done. Faithful to the source material while adding enough new material to keep everyone interested no many how times you have seen the original. The visuals are spectacular, especially the "Be Our Guest" sequence. The new songs are amazing and the story line giving you a background on Belle's mother tied up many loose ends. The picture transfer on the Blu Ray is stunning and the sound is crisp. This is an instant classic in my house and a must-own for any Disney fans.

Disney did a good job of remaking this movie. My kids like it a lot.

Live Beauty and the Beast is almost as great as the Disney animation.

Saw this movie in the theater & am looking forward to watching at home.

My wife and I saw this at the theater when it first came out, and we were both skeptical if it would really be very good or not. We were both surprised by how much we enjoyed it. It is very true to the original Disney animated version, but it is actually better! The CG is well done, the acting is great, and the singing and dancing are excellent and entertaining. I bought this at Best Buy on release day for the wife, and she watched it 3 times that night!!! Excellent purchase and highly recommended!

After seeing this movie in the theatre, I knew I had to own it. It is even better than the classic animated. The additional songs and scenes add more depth and characterization than the original, but the best of the original is still there. Live action fairy tales just add so much and the cast is outstanding. The extras are fun too, The table read feauturette is especially fun. and tells the timeless story just a as well as the actual film. this will be a treasured part of our collection and watched often.

I bought this for my daughter and she keeps watching it over and over.

Excellent Blu-ray quality, not the greatest collection of extras but an excellent live adaptation of the animated classic along with new versions of old favorite songs along with a few new ones. If you can keep the animated movie separate as it's own entity from this version you will find it awesome. If you are looking for an exact replica, you will be disappointed. I have heard a few complaints from a few people about some of the CGI but it did not bother me. An excellent Disney production as always!

If you like Disney princess movies this is probably fine for you.

I loved this movie it was a good move adaption of the original.

Beauty and the Beast is a great Disney classic and I loved the live version almost just as much but the best buy exclusive steel book made the physical appearance so much better then the normal blu ray look. I will definitely be buying all of my Disney movie from Best Buy from now on. Between the great product, great prices and wonderful customer service I can't see myself being content with the normal standard cardboard slipcovers anymore unless it is absolutely the only thing available. A++++

Beauty and the Beast is simply a beautiful film. The cinematography and set design was simply wonderful. It is a faithful adaptation of the classic animated film with original songs that fit seamlessly with the rest of the musical work. The casting choices were simply brilliant, Emma Watson as Belle is a natural choice and she performs her role wonderfully. Josh Gad as Lefou works perfectly, his humor and actions keep the audience laughing throughout the film. It is truly a tale as old as time.

There is always comparing. You can't help it. But I like that this version is slightly different, giving some more back story and making Belle the brains. ( At Emma Watson's suggestion) The live action Cinderella could have taken this chance and didn't. With the 4k cut of this film, there is a greater sharpness in the overall picture and the "Be my Guest" sequence is just crazy good. Well worth the upgrade. Enjoy!
