The movie was great, and seemed very similar to the original cartoon. The live action was a nice new feature. The DVD quality and variety are also great. I always purchase the DVD Blu Ray and Digital Download combos when available. My kids like to be able to load them to a tablet to watch on trips, etc. And with the variety of DVD players in our house, Blu Ray and DVD are sometimes necessary. Great movie, great products, easy downloads

We all know the story of Beauty and the Beast. This reimagining staring Emma Watson (Hermione from the Harry Potter franchise) retells the story with some added plot to fill potential holes in the Disney classic. Emma Watson portrayed Belle wonderfully. Her voice could have sounded better, but that doesn't hold the film back. Overall, it is a fantastic film and excellent representation of the original story. You won't be disappointed!

A perfect rendition of a classic disney animation.

I bought this movie for my wife, she loves the live-action Disney remakes. the original cartoon Disney version wasn't my favorite, so when she asked me to watch with her I was hesitant. This movie is outstanding for a date night movie! I really enjoyed the story, the acting and even the singing numbers. Even though so many people are going digital for movies I feel this is a nice one to have for your physical copy movie collection.

I ordered the Beauty and the Beast (2017) movie on 4K, with a steelbook, and I ordered the Beauty and the Beast (1991) movie on 4K with a very beautiful steelbook. The 2017 movie came to the store the next day and I picked it up. It was great service! Then the 1991 movie came to my house very quickly, too! Great service!

Pleasantly surprised. My 5 and 7 year old girls struggled to watch the live action remake of Cinderella, it was a little too slow and the content was geared more toward adults. They really love the original beauty and the beast cartoon so we gave it a shot, I was worried going in it would not hold their attention but by the time the credits were rolling they were asking when they could watch it again. Very well done, very Disney

This B & the B movie stands all on its Own! I've had the pleasure of seeing every version that was made so far & this one definitely Shines the Brightest as of date! It has the basic storyline in it but adds a different twist here & there that turns it into something really special that will embrace your heart.... Hope you'll enjoy it forevermore too!!! To all those who think.it goes word for word, you clearly don't know the animation version as well as you think you do. They answered more adult catching questions that left holes in the animation versions. ALL original B&B songs were used. So much more substance in this one, instead of just the childhood fairytale & the songs that lead to a perfectly happy ending. It had way more layers for people of all ages to enjoys.

The steel book is one of the better designs I have seen. The movie was perfectly cast with enthusiastic performances from all. I did not rate it five stars due to no 3D disc. The European steel book has a blu ray and a 3D blu ray with no DVD. American consumers suffer because of the trend chasing American population and their lack of technical knowledge. Blu ray 3D failed here because of active shutter purchases and the trend of mounting televisions to high on the walls thus causing the 3D effect to be lost and the image blurred out. If our consumers had purchased passive 3D televisions and placed the center of the screen at eye level then they would have embraced the technology as they have in the theaters and as the Europeans and Asians have in their homes.

I'm a huge fan of Disney movies and I really loved Cinderella. Disney movies to me is like a fairy tale story so you can't expect it to feel realistic. That being said, this movie was phenomenal; there was humor, most of the actors/actresses were perfect, and the story stuck with the original with a few minor changes. What I was disappointed was that Belle didn't feel like she was really into her role. Don't get me wrong she did a good job, but it didn't feel like she fit in with the cast. I felt like she was missing passion. In the cartoon, boy was she passionate about the books, the library, etc. In this live action film, it didn't feel she exhibited that. Overall great movie though still. Gaston was perfect in his role, even better than the cartoon.

I loved the original animated edition and had seen it so many times with my children I could almost recite it all the way through. I was concerned that this new version would disappoint and not measure up but I was amazed-stunned, even!- at the beauty and precision. The visual effects and music are breathtaking! While not word-for-word, it follows the original Disney animated version. You will NOT be disappointed!

I went into this adaptation with low expectations but i should've known better. With Bill Condon at the helm, this film was always in good hands and boy did he deliver. It might be considered sacrilege to even ponder the notion, but I may very well prefer this remake to the animated version. The casting, the joie de vivre. Like Cinderella and Jungle Book before it, Disney is on a roll with their live action updates.

This is a great Disney remake. I know some people are apparently upset with these recent live action updates, and other things within this film, but really I'd suggest that the negative hype is unnecessary. As for this film I think there was great acting, pacing, and overall captured the tone of the animated original but it still added something to make this film stand out on its own. Worth the watch and purchase.

I hadn't seen this film until purchasing the blu-ray. I found that technically, the sound and picture quality are excellent, as are most Disney releases. The 7.1 sound mix is very active most times. The film itself isn't too bad. I thought Emma Watson was a bit wooden in the role, and using an auto tuner for her singing is distracting, but the rest of the film makes up for it. All-in-all, I enjoyed the experience.

My daughter really loved this movie after seeing it the first time. Wanting to know what the big deal was I took her to see it again. This was a great remake of the original cartoon. The story line followed the original very well. The characters meshed well and the animation in the castle were impressive. She had to have a copy as soon as it came out and I had to agree. Can't go wrong if you liked the original.

If you liked the original animated version of this Disney classic, you should love the live action version. I especially love Kevin Kline as Belle's dad. There are many of the songs from the original movie in this edition with a few new songs added here. You can't help but hate Gaston by the end of the movie.....you'll see why here. I'm glad Disney brought "Beast" back to life, in this new updated version.

I'm a sucker for the original, but this one...perfect casting, great musical numbers (including a few new ones, one of which falls a bit short of the rest, but does not distract enough to ruin the experience), and an obvious appreciation for the source material. Disney is on a roll--after giving The Jungle Book the same treatment, they are crafting new classics that need to be a part of your collection.

Gorgeous steelbook for the live action version of Beauty and the Beast! The artwork and movie both beautifully done! Emma Watson (Harry Potter series) does a super job in this lively tale from Disney. The picture quality and sound are fabulous in this tale of love. If you collect steelbooks, get this one. Recommended!

This is a great movie I recommend that everybody buy it I always buying my movies from Best Buy cause you get the DVD,digital copy and blue ray for only 19.99. I shopped around and I found out that it was a great deal. My daughters love this movie Beaty and the beast we actually bought all the beauty and the beast movies. I highly recommend you buy all your movies at Best Buy's .You can't beat that .

Really enjoyed this. Only reason why the original was better was because of the novelty of it when it came out. Thought the casting and acting in this were pretty good, although the prince character after transforming back from the Beast was not compelling or convincing. Gaston was definitely a much more developed character in this telling of the story. A lot of fun even for an old dude like me.
