Incredible movie but this steelbook collectors edition was the icing on the cake. I bought this as a gift for my girlfriend and she absolutely loved it. I only buy Steelbook edition movies from BestBuy, ALWAYS the lowest price and BestBuy will refund you the difference if the price lowers from when you preorder to when it's released.

Watching the animated film as a child made me believe that there was hope for the future. After seeing this film, that feeling returned as it brought back all my childhood hopes and dreams. This is a great live-action film and having the original songwriter from the animated film for this one makes it special.

If you liked Beauty and the Beast on Broadway, you will love this. If your children liked the original animated version they will like this movie, especially if they are teens and respond to emotional warm feelings. Classic themes in this movie. All ages will love it. You can watch it many times too, and one can sing along too!

The live action version of Beauty and the Beast is a wonderful homage to the original animated version. The movie is available in Blu-Ray & regular DVD versions. Bonus features are excellent and shouldn't be missed. The only negative would be that there is no 4K UHD version. Disney does not offer any of its films in the 4k format.

This movie is so artistically made I don't see how anyone could not enjoy it. It is different from the original, but they made some good changes. They added in some more songs and fixed plot holes. If you keep an open mind when watching it and don't compare it too closely to the original then you're bound to love the live remake.

The animated version was my all time favorite movie. I had to go see real life version on the first night it was out. I knew after I watched the movie at the theatre I was buy this movie because I loved it just as much as the animated movie. Yes the beast may be scary to some very young kids but he was in the animated version too.

I adore Disney since I was a little girl and now I get to share my love of Disney with my children. Now they've expanded even more with there live action of Disney classics such as Beauty & The Beast & this version is phenomenal and gonna be a timeless classic in my home. I highly recommend it to all because your gonna love it!!!

As a true Disney fan, I liked this movie, but didn't love it. The scenes were beautiful. The characters were awesome, Ewan McGregor was just as entertaining as Jerry Orbach (Lumiere)was in the animated film. Emma was a beautiful Belle and Dan Stevens was an awesome Beast. I will watch it again to see what I missed the first time.

My 4 year old daughter and I absolutely love this movie! It follows the original perfectly. We've already watched it about 10 times and I'm sure we'll be watching it a lot more. I like how this set comes with the download, DVD and blu ray. We can have the download on the tablet, the blu ray in the house and the DVD in the car.

Excellent in every way! I love the animated version but this 'live' characters version is on the same level. I was also very impressed with the singing of every character in this one. Reminded me of a good musical theater production. Add it to your collection of Disney films, you won't be disappointed IMHO of course. :)

I love Beauty and the Beast. The animated version came out when I was little. This version stays true to the animated version tweaking a couple of the timeline inconsistencies found in the animated series. It also give better detail about the character's lives. Very entertaining and beautifully made.

This movie is largely the same as the original animated movie from 1992. There are more story beats in there and the origin of the prince turning into the beast makes more sense than the original (not letting a stranger in your home at 11 sounds like a good lesson). The whole cast is on point especially Gaston and the Beast.

Beauty and the Beast was one of the first movies I watch when I was a kid so this is a bit bias as it does hold a special place for me. With that said this is one of the best of the Live action adaptations Disney has been doing as of late. Must have in 4k.

I personally loved this film. Growing up the Disney cartoon was my favorite so I did go in with worry, but it held up. I think that the casting choices were done well and they stuck pretty close to the original movie which I appreciated. I enjoyed the new couple of songs they added. Overall really enjoyed this live action.

I was doubtful on the movie as I am not much of a musical or romance guy, but my wife LOVES this Disney film so I gave it a shot. I was very impressed and entertained! Eventhough I knew the story the production, music, and acting were so good I was engrossed the whole time. The Extras on disc are extensive and also great!

When Disney remakes an animated movie into a live action, you just do not know how well that is going to come out. Alice has been a jolt of good and bad but Magnificent was good as well as Jungle Book. Beauty and the Beast I have to say is just as good or even better as the animated movie. Disney really made a great movie.

This is a review of the steelbook and not of the movie. This has to be one of my favorite steelbook designs of this year. The inside is really nice and greatly detailed! I do wish the title was either embossed/debossed to have that nice effect like with other steelbooks. Overall, it is a great steelbook for a good movie!

For all those who enjoyed this movie in the theaters, this is definitely a must-have Blu-ray disc. The beautiful imagery and the audio quality together with the bonus features will best be enjoyed on Blu-ray. My family identified this movie as a Disney classic and we were pleased to be able to add it to our video library.

This was a beautiful retelling if the original Disney movie! Someone the scenes seemed like they were take straight from the original animated version and made perfectly! It was a little girls fairytale brought to life! And even the new songs they added in flowed really well with the rest of the movie. I love it so much!

While it is a carbon copy of the animated film that is one of Disney Animation's all-time greatest accomplishments, it stands on it's own two feet. The musical numbers have great choreography, great singing, and real emotion. The casting was good. The sets, costumes, and hair/makeup are divine for this film. I enjoyed the 3D for this film too, although the United States didn't get a home video release in 3D -- makes me sad had to purchase 3D version from another country. I still would take the animated version over this film, but this film was really well done.
