I had gone to a well known bookstore where they had 1movie left for double the price! I even asked if that was correct--the checkout girl was even surprised. I checked my email and saw B&TB on sale at Best Buy--went right over and purchased. My only disappointment was that they didn't have the steel edition.

Beautifully done with nearly all the characters closely resembling the cartoon ones. However, a horse love like me quickly picked up that Phillippe was a light weight carriage house in the live action film but a heavy breed draft house, probably a Belgian, in the cartoon. Epic fail on that character Disney!

I saw this in theaters and once it came out on Blue Ray, I knew I had to own it. The story is beautiful and improved from the original Disney animated one. There's a bit more backstory, something I really loved about it. It gives the characters even more life than before. I could watch this again and again!

The hit animated Beauty and the Beast is one of a kind. That said, this l"live" version does pretty well. Who knew Emily Watson could sing?! The "Be My Guest" number is way over the top. Other than that the costumes are great and well as the "Real" location setting. Just enjoy, the blu ray looks awesome!

The next in a series of Disney animated classics being brought to the screen with live action characters and lots of CGI. If you can get past the Harry Potter wizardess interacting with one of the Fantastic Beasts, then this will win your heart as did the animated feature. Beautifully done Disney magic!!

This steelbook is beautiful. I love that the core is the enchanted rose. The print is high quality and not a weird matte finish like the Batman Begins and The Dark Knight Steelbook. If you're a fan of Beauty and the Beast and like collecting exclusive packaging, I think this was the best one of them all.

I have always loved the beauty and the beast, and I was worried that they might butcher this beloved classic..... I should not have worried, it was as beautiful and enchanting as the original classic. I would like to thank Emma Watson and Dan Stevens for bringing this beloved fairytale to life!!!!!!!

I've watched the original disney movie numerous times growing up on vhs. Bought the new one for my nieces to watch. I absolutely loved it, it btought me back to when i was younger (its the same as before, but with epic spacial effects and real characters playing the roles) uou will not be dissapointed .

I love this movie. It was one of my favorite disney movies growing up and disney did not disappoint me with a remake. Loved all of the characters I thought they did a great job. My only complaint is that the guy who played beast was to old for the part. Next to Emma he looked around 40 but that was it.

When I saw "Beauty and the Beast" twice at the theater, I knew I'd have to buy it! I'm so glad that Disney is now making live action movies out of their previously animated ones. Love everything about this movie except I felt that Luke Evans who played Gaston could have been more conceited than he was.

I grew up on all of the classic Disney movies and was super excited to learn that they were making a live-action version of Beauty and the Beast. I must say that they did a fantastic job. There wasn't a thing that disappointed me throughout the movie. Both young and old will surely enjoy this classic.

My kids have grown up watching the original Disney cartoon version of this story. When we heard that the new movie was coming out, we could not wait to see it. As a parent, we loved how well Disney did in transforming the original cartoon into the real looking story. However, I did not enjoy the modifications to the characters and how Disney decided they had to add in references to different lifestyle choices of people. The original story was great, so why do this? We love the movie and will continue to watch over and over I am sure.

While not as good as the original animated classic, this live action version has much to recommend it. Performances are quite strong and affecting. The big winner here is the gorgeous cinematography and color palette. It's a shame Disney has yet to embrace 4K as this would be eye-poppingly beautiful.

I was excited for this movie and it didn’t really disapoint. Everything was so beautiful and seeing it in live action was great! I still prefer the animated version.

I was a little hesitant about the movie, but after watching it, I was very satisfied. There are some differences from the 1991 animated version, but I think most are beneficial to this live action movie. I am very satisfied with my purchase. I would recommend this movie to Beauty and the Beast fans.

I was skeptical of this remake when trailers first came out. However, my wife and I saw it in theatre and were beyond impressed. The live-action aspect adds a little more depth to the characters and story. Very well done. I hope they continue this trend with the upcoming Disney live action remakes.

The movie is absolutely wonderful. My wife got the opportunity to see this in the theater. I now wished I had done the same. Great movie for the whole family. Side note to Best Buy: change your steelbook offerings, because it is ridiculous that only a certain amount are set for pre-order to obtain.

When I watched this movie in theatres I immediately knew I was going to buy the blu-ray. The movie kept much of what was used in the original animated version, but also added parts that made it stand out. I think this was a great movie, amazing remake. If you are a Disney fan, this is a must have.

This was an excellent movie! who knew "Hermione" could sing? But she did, and well. I don't usually like animated movies re-done with actual actors, as Disney has done many times, but this is truly a gem. All the actors did a great job. This steel-book version was cheaper then the regular Blu-ray!

Beauty and the Beast is a fantastic movie for the whole family to enjoy. This has always been my most favorite Disney movie and this newest retelling is no exception. Fantastic cast of characters, humor, music, and a little more to the story than what most people may remember! Highly recommended.
