Love the original version. I was a little skeptical at first, but what a good movie. I have twin 6 year old boys, and there were scenes that got them scared, but overall they made it through ok (with no nightmares). Some of the songs were altered a bit, but I enjoyed them as much as the original.

It was a good movie to watch once and see how they approached live action version of it, but I still feel that the original animated version still holds up better. Felt that the singing was just off on this live action version. The Beast design was not menacing enough...could have been pushed way more for live action/cg. Like I stated earlier it was cool to see it once, but probably will not view it again. Only reason I really did a blind purchase on this film was because of the limited steelbook only available through best buy.

I thought the live action remake of this classic was well done. the lead characters that were played by these recognizable actors really fit the movie. The kids really enjoyed this remake and made this a great addition to our disney collection. The steelbk was beautiful and really well done.

I am a huge Disney fan and one of my favorite movies have always been the animated version of Beauty and the Beast. Emma Watson played a great Belle. The music is spectacular and even feaures new songs and storylines thats not in the original animated movie. I love this movie more then original.

Whenever possible, I buy the Blu-RayDVD versions of kid appropriate videos. I keep one disc at my permanent home and one disc at my winter home. I saw this movie at a local movie theater and found it to be well done (well it is Disney) and entertaining. I would highly recommend this movie.

This movie is truly magical! It is so similar to the animated Disney movie that I grew up watching! They did a great job following the story and making small changes to only add to the story! I loved it and will re watch it often! The steelbok was well worth the extra $5, so pretty and unique.

I loved the animated version, but the live action version really took my breath away. I loved the details they added to the characters and how it really fleshed out some underused characters from the original. The only thing I didn't really like was that they made Gaston more evil and less fun.

I watched the cartoon version as a kid and this remake follows the same storyline and my children love it. I think the homosexuality portrayed throughout the movie is a little strange and misplaced in a movie like this, but you know the entertainment world feels the need to make a statement...

Great remake of the Disney animated movie. Has some new songs and explains what happened to belle's mother. Also covers why the castle was forgotten by the villagers. Emma Watson did a very good job of playing the part of Belle. There are also lots of cut scenes and behind the scenes features.

This remake of the classic animated film is fantastic. The music is great, including a couple of great new additions. The story gets fleshed out a little more and tries to answer some of the questoins people have had for decade with the original. The Best Buy steelbook case looks amazing too.

In the tradition of previous Disney film a pleasant entertainment that should please every one in the family. There are many versions of the story and this one follows closely the recent release of the French film with the same theme. However this US version is lighter, it is a singing version and it does not have the more sinister background than the French version that is based on the original XVIIth century fairy tale, This version is more a "live" version of the famed Disney animated film of the same name.

Was a little skeptical after seeing the non-animated Cinderella, especially when I saw Emma Watson playing the role of Belle. The essence of this classific Disney's princess story was preserved and the overall effect was great. It's a must see and wonderful addition to your Disney collection.

When my wife and I heard that this was being made, we geeked out. I mean you doesn't love Beauty and the Beast. This movie was well done, and I really enjoyed it. The new song that the Beast sang, Evermore, is now one of my favorites! Everyone should definitely add this to their collection.

As a 40 year old male, bearded and manly, I stood in front of the beauty and the beast display. Not contemplating the choice of DVD or Blu-Ray, but rather waiting for the coast to be clear. That's right! I was buying this movie for me. At the time I was afraid of being judged. Afraid of being picked on. Then it dawned on me.... I am the beast and the movie is my Belle. With this new found realization, I raised my courage and asked it to dance with me. She said yes! It was the most magnificent evening I've ever experienced.

One of my all-time favorite Disney movies, and they did a very respectable job with a live-action. Of course, I couldn't buy it anywhere other than Best Buy, because nobody could meet the price or service I receive at the Niles Ohio Best Buy store kudos to the staff, keep up the great work!

I saw this movie at the theater when it first came out and liked it so much that I went home and watched the animated version. Needless to say, I had to buy this for my DVD collection. I've watched it 3 times since purchasing it last week and I'll likely watch it again this weekend. Love it!

Loved the movie! It was a perfect compliment to the original leaving me hoping more movies from back when I was little make it to the big screen now. Highly recommend previewing prior to allowing children to watch as the " Beast" happened to catch our daughter of guard and scared her a bit!

One of Disney's greatest achievements in my opinion. This movie lets you believe in the wonder and beauty of love no matter how we look. The blueray comes with an Overture option to start the movie, which allows you to enjoy all the music with beautiful images. Get the Steel Book Addition!!

I loved this movie..Emma Watson was really great..I love the live action films..of the classic films..The 4k made the movie great. Nice contrast..The HDR made the colors bright and dark dark..The steelbook was really cool

I'm not one for musicals - but this one is too much fun. Possibly my favorite fairy tale of all time. Apparently this is based on the animated version Disney made a fortune on. I never saw it - but this one is spectacular. The sets are amazing and the actors are obviously having a blast.
