Only caught bits and pieces of it myself so it would be hard to compare it to the original but my 10 year old daughter absolutely loved it

They did a great job paying tribute to the animated Disney classic; however, I had hoped it would deviate/take a few creative liberties of its own. This does not detract from the film though. It tells the original story beautifully with great singing/voices, wardbrobe, sets, and CGI.

This is a beautifully shot, live-action version of the original animated film that was, itself, an excellent movie! Highly recommend it !

They did a great job keeping all the things we love from the animated movie plus incorporated some new elements that were great additions.

Emma Watson did an excellent job in this movie. The cartoon was my favorite princess movie as a child and this version gave me goosebumps!

If you're going to play it over and over... might as well own it. Extras are fun for myself and the kids. Picture and sound are excellent.

Great Movie. Saw it in the theaters. My Gf liked it so much I surprised her and picked a copy of the steel book for her when it came out..

While it isn't exactly like the original, the movie still delievers a great story and good musical talent. Does have a musical vibe to it.

I didn't think I'd like a live version more than the animated version. The characters and songs were just as endearing in this production.

This is a fun and entertaining "live" version of Beauty and the Beast. It doesn't strike the same emotion and excitement of the original animated version merely due to the fact that it is not unique, but in an era of many live remakes of classic animated films, this is worth seeing.

This movie is awesome the sound track is something that every family member will enjoy. Great reboot and a must for anyones collection.

This movie was great, my kids loved it. What was best was that it really follows the cartoon story line. this is a must see and own movie.

This movie is a classic. It stays true to the original. It is wonderful to see the characters in live action. You will no be disappointed!

Personally, this film, despite its fair amount of flaws, has moments where it is actually good. The steelbook is well designed so if you like the movie, I would pick one up. Hopefully one day they release the movie that was in 1.9:1 aspect ratio, that they screened in IMAX theaters.

there was so much heat on this movie about a "gay" scene. At first I watched it to see what the problem was. I think I saw what they where talking about. Girls dance all the time together. The movie followed the animated version pretty well. I was impressed.

Daughters loved the movie at the theater and couldn't wait to watch it again. Having the Bluray/DVD & Digital HD all in one box is great.

Saw it in the theater as a favor to my wife and ended up really liking it. Much more than the animated version. Emma Watson just nails it.

Keeps pretty close to the animated version. Everything has been done very well and probably will be considered a classic in years to come!
