Somewhat of a Classic

It is waaaay longer than I remember, with many of the musical scenes lasting longer than they should. That, coupled with some moments where actors were painted to look darker (the international dance scene) make for some cringe-worthy moments. Still, it has its fun parts and my daughter enjoyed the animated bits.

A good story about imagination

I never particularly enjoyed the animated sections of this movie, but I think that the songs were well done (they stick with you) and the movie was well acted. But, then again, I love Angel Lansbury.

Not what I remembered...

It didn't stir up the memories I was expecting but it was still a fun film...although a little on the long side. Angela Lansbury made for a great beginner witch.
