Even though the adapter clearly shows the compatible voltage of 100-240 but the moment I connected the adapter within 5 minutes this charger stopped working. I ended up buying another charger there as I had no other option left

She likes the convenience of just placing her phone on it and not having to deal with plugging it in. She has an iPhone XR with a case and so far no issues with charging. The phone gets a little warm while charging but nothing of concern. I don’t recommend charging the phone and listening to music or podcasts or watching videos. This increases the heat factor significantly. Charging speed is pretty good too.
