If it worked properly, it would be outstanding. The problem is that when I'm doing a relatively long Zoom call, the charger heats up my iPhone to the point where the phone shuts down (the same way that it would if you left it out in the hot sun all afternoon). I figured that I probably got a defective unit, so I made a warranty claim and (after one mixup) Belkin sent me another unit. Same problem. Very frustrating.

If I don’t watch it while charging I’ll end up with a phone not being charged. I don’t know if this is like that with all of them or if mine is faulty

Too Hot for Charging

Phones and computers should not get this warm as it weakens the battery. I like the convenience of it, but am concerned that it will wear down my battery. Jeff Rosen on TV consumer reports just stated this as well, when he consulted with a computer/phone repair technician on battery care.

Buyer beware

I purchased 3 Belkin charging stations and they all stopped charging within a couple months. This company needs to address the quality of their products. I will not purchase any Belkin products going forward.

This is NOT TRUE. After I unboxed the charger I noticed that my Pixel 4A was not charging. I went to the manufacturer website to see if anyone else has similar issues and saw that this charger is only Apple and Samsung compatible. Misleading product info from Best Buy on this one. Don't buy if you have a Google phone.
