The charging pad will work fine with a case as long as it’s not more than 3mm thick and is made of lightweight plastic. The LED on the Belkin BOOST↑CHARGE Wireless Charging Stand 10W should show a solid white light to indicate it is charging. For isolation, you can try to plug the wireless charger into a different power outlet or place another Qi-enabled to see if that will charger.

|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.---HIGHLIGHTS--- Fast Charge Compatible, Upright Charging in Portrait or Landscape mode, Fits Standard and Plus Size Phones, Quick Charge 3.0 Compatible, Qi Wireless ---SUMMARY--- Wireless charging is the wave of the future. Most, if not all phones, in the near future will incorporate it. I much prefer the upright stand design over the flat pad design because the upright orientation allows me to easily use it while it is charging. The upright charging also allows me to conveniently place the phone in my work area so I can monitor it while I am working. Now that I am in the habit of always placing my phone in this stand while I am working, I find that I am missing less important calls and texts because my phone is always upright and right in my face. This Fast Charger will charge Apple phones at up to 7.5 watts, and compatible Samsung phones at up to 9 watts. Other devices will charge at up to 5 watts. Compared to a 5 watt wireless charger, this stand charges my Apple iPhone noticeably faster. Cable simplification. More and more devices are Qi wireless charger capable, so this charger will work with many of the latest Apple and Android phones. A benefit of wireless charging is that it reduces wear and tear on the phone charging port. The 18 watt A/C adapter specifications are: Output: 3.6 – 6 V at 2A 6-9 V at 2A 9-12 V at 1.5A This charger is designed to work with cases that are up to 3mm thick. I am using it with a slim OtterBox Symmetry case, and find that it works well. If you are using a thick case the only way to know for sure that it will work is to check with the case manufacturer, or test it yourself. Included in the box is the charging stand, an 18 watt A/C wall adapter, and a quality USB to micro USB cable.
