Good for MacBook Pro/External monitor setup

Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this docking station in order to use multiple monitors with the Macbook Pro, the only issue i ran into is not being able to use the HDMI and Display Ports for multiple monitor setup on a 2018 MacBook Pro. I have two external monitors that i use, along with the MacBook. This docking station will not extend to the second monitor or third monitor, it'll only mirror. So, i have one monitor hooked up to the docking station by Display Port, the other monitor is plugged into the MacBook using USB-C

Great but Maybe Two to Test

The display ports worked on one but but not on the other. I switched them to see if it was a compatibility issue or just a faulty product. Turns out it was the product. I’m always questioning the user too so made sure I wasn’t being a dummy too. :)

Super Great Multi-Port!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.New Belkin multiport came, plugged it in to my new Macbook Air (with Intel chip - NOT the new Apple chip) and it worked immediately! Old Mouse works, multiport powers my Macbook Air, ethernet cord plugs in, and dual screen monitoring (with an old VGA connector) all worked perfectly! The only thing Belkin could improve on is to allow for the old VGA connector to be screwed in with the small screws from the VGA - there are no screw holes to allow this. So VGA just pushes on.

It is great and work fabulous but it is a little bulky compared to other items (no names will be mentioned), And for the size and the price it would be great it included one more UBC port.

I couldn’t use it under my laptop, per its design because the cord is on the wrong side. Would be nice to have it interchangeable. So it sits wonky (backwards) with my laptop. Not a deal breaker.

Multiport Dock for Dell Laptop

Would have given five stars, but making me work that hard to find out what I needed to know cost one.

Not sure why it took me this long to purchase. provides a bit of an elevation to my keyboard and simplifies all my cords down to one master. I have both an HP for work and Dell for personal with USB on either side and I just flip over depending on which plug-in is needed. Would say that the charger is a little slow, so I've been leaving my power cable attached to laptop separately to quickly juice but when not in a rush the dock works just fine.

Very Solid All Around Product

My ONLY negative about it is that the cable is too short. I understand it’s made for a MacBook and not an iMac but there’s nothing specifically for the iMac. Nonetheless this is still a very high quality product.
