Can only give this a 3. In general it does work but performance, specific to how well it connects to devices and the devices simply "appear" plug and play has been at times frustrating. My "Time Machine™" drive for example, sometimes won't show up until I use disk utility to mount it. I've found the VGA display port to be a little flaky as well though it seems to be finding itself a little better maybe as the hardware gets "settled" (If that's even a possible thing?) The hardware seems well made otherwise and when things are working they are generally speaking fine. I've been using it to connect to an external USB hub which connects to a couple of pointers and Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse via usb fob, the hub also has an HP USB printer scanner on it which usually works fine. I'm also not sure if I prefer the overall design sitting as a riser to the MBP as if it had a load of back ports on it. On a less cluttered desk or one with a more open back (I'm against a wall) that may work better than it does for me.

Kept needing more USB-A ports on MacBook Pro - simple design

Works great but I thought I’d be able to hook up two monitors to it but I was wrong.

Great option to connect other devices since newer computers have limited connecters.

The design of the station is alright. However, if you’re using anything other than a MacBook or a similar model with the usb c ports at the back, you should expect to have the station in the middle of your laptop.

It works great but I wish the VGA port had the tightening screw holes either side. The cable is not very secure without them.

Had no problem returning back this item didn't worked with the lap top i have ordering another item.

The item was much more than I could have possibly expected. It more than met my needs. Would highly recommend this product to anyone looking/shopping for a similar device.

If they work out of the box for you. Buy a lotto ticket as its your lucky day! In all seriousness, Have installed a few of these and they just are very sensitive and none have lasted that long. They seem to have a video port go out or the whole thing just dies. The USB cable is also very short and some laptops have the charging USB-C port on the other side.

This is a must have item when you use 2 or more monitors

This station works well, but could use more C ports

I work from home and I use 3 screens. I needed something that allowed me to hook up all my screens, and have the Ethernet port as well since my job requires me to use a VPN. This has worked phenomenally. Great choice for school or work!

The device works fine, but if you have an ultrawide monitor and are using a M2 Macbook Air, you will need to use the display port rather than HDMI. Sometimes the screen flickers when you fist connect, but other than that it's a fine dock. I just wish there was more USB-C ports.

Solid all metal build. Weighty and substantial feel. Covers all the connection bases. Only recommendation would be maybe for a longer connection card.
