Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to add the Surface Pro 4 docking station for my office use to attach my 24" HP HD monitor. I had contacted Belkin directly to confirm the compatibility of this cable for these devices and they were not able to do so. I read that this cable had a mini display to HDMI connection so I ordered it anyway. It works well whether you connect the Surface directly or through the docking station. The picture on the monitor is amazing compared to the previous VGA connection

My screen goes off and on all the time. I’m contrast to a cheaper Walmart cable I bought for my other monitor which has no issues at all.
