You plug it in, the iPhone starts charging, but if you even touch the cable, the charging stops. Very dangerous and can blow up your phone charging port. It is unbelievable that they suggest using such bad cable for charging in the car, where it will be subject to vibrations so it won't charge your phone at all because the Lighting connector is so loose. The car charger is fine but if you need just the car charger you can get it for less. I was trusting Belkin is a reputable company but now I will never buy their products ever again.
