We were using cheap amazon cables which did not keep connectivity eventhough they were straigh out of the package. At least that was the reasoning explained to us. This cable held connection better, but it still failed to connect at times altogether which the resolution we devised was a vehicle reboot. I have checked and cleaned the port of the vehicle to rule that out. For the price per performance, I am disappointed with the unreliability.

Using a different USBC to USBC cord with multiple USB A to USB C adapters does charge my laptop. In a response to another one star review, the manufacturer stated: "The Belkin F2CU029 will let you charge as well as sync your files and data from your USB-C device to an existing laptop." That was not true with me. Again, this cable, despite being perhaps the most expensive of similar cables, did not charge my laptop.

Price is likely standard for a retail, but it can probably be found less expensive online. Paid for convenience of picking it up right away.

Thank for reviewing this cable. It is true that the package doesn't include an electric plug box but this will surely work with USB wall charger or even plugging it to your computer/s. As for it's charging capacity, it is rated up to 3A output. It is best to check the specs also of the cable that came with the LG G5 as it may have a higher charging output than this one.
