It charges fine, but I noticed the 3.5mm headphone jack wouldn't work at odd times. It would take unplugging the USB-C cord from the phone and plugging back in to fix the issue, usually once or twice a week. I bought this solely for listening to headphones while charging so I dealt with the annoyance for the time being but it soon became clear the poor build quality would affect the lifetime of the adapter. A month later and now the headphone jack is 100% dead. Normal usage. Charging at night while keeping a dedicated set of earbuds plugged into the adapter. Do yourself a favor and avoid this to avoid wasting your time and money.

We tried several less expensive ones with no luck. In this case you definitely get what you pay for.
