AUX attachment for USB C phone

It works. However, when charging, a high-frequency noise is emitted along with the audio. The noise is loud enough to be unpleasant and detracts from listening to the audio. Because of this, I only charge my phone when the battery is almost completely empty. This defeats the purpose of the device. (I also own the version made to work with Apple devices -- that uses the lightning connector. It exhibits the same problem but to a lesser degree).

Even after upgrading my phone, it does the same thing. Can't drive down the street without my music playing for more than 30 seconds before it cuts out. Like these other reviewers, I wasted 40 bucks.
