You have to have it in just right for it to connect. It also feels a little flimsy and like i could break it if i used it more often. Tight fit.

The audio cuts out anytime you hit a small bump when driving. Ive gone through two of these so far and my third just died. Save your money.

Broken on arrival!

I was hoping to be able to charge and listen to audio at the same time. The audio part is fine. However, the charging port did not work from the get go. I thought this might be due to the fact that I was connected to audio at the same time. However, after disconnecting the audio, the charging port still would not work. Just to be sure, I disconnected from the adapter altogether and connected my phone directly to the power source and it charged just fine. The Bestbuy rep offered to exchange it for a new one, but I refused. Hard to have any more confidence in the quality of a device when one failed like this on arrival.

When plugged in phone will indicate that it has headphones but will not play through car speakers. When both charger and headphone jack were plugged in at the same time item started to make weird noise and warm up. Had it for a total of 5 min, unfortunately I had already left the store parking lot to return it.

But the guy that helped me was completely awesome, i had a funeral to attend and the play list was on my phone, i had no time to go anywhere else and he made sure i was able to achieve what i needed, i wish i could remember his name.

But when I plug a USB cord to this adaptor to charge, the iPad says "not charging", even though if I plug the very same USB cord directly into the iPad it charges.
