I use this all the time, just wish it had 2 more ports.

The connections on the hub worked well, but the MacBook Pro would run hot when it was plugged in. I have returned this item and the replacement hub does not have the same effect on the MacBook Pro.

Love this gadget!!!! I was stuck when I was gifted a new laptop (only 1 USB) with the new external connection port. Spoke to a rep and this was recommended. I love it and can switch from my laptop to my work laptop w/o disconnecting anything.

I bought this for a new 2020 Mac Pro. This unit may work fine on earlier models but would Not power any usb plugged into it that requires power. Do research before you buy

Solid product that fits your needs perfectly. The only knock is if you are operating on a smaller desk, then you have to find somewhere for the device to lay so it doesn’t just hang off while plugged in.

Very fast upload speeds... Good quality... Connects to my Samsung galaxy note 20 perfectly..... I can transfer files fast from 1 USB to another.. Also great accessory for my iPad pro 12.9..

I don't have a use for 2 of the 5 ports so I find the product a bit expensive for my needs. It seems to run very hot when my computer is active, so I will need to watch for this in coming weeks.

Worth the price. I have bought many cheaper adapters but they have all failed. Spend the extra money and SAVE money in the long run because this one will not fail!

I like this brand and I researched a long time to find the best one. I haven’t used it a lot, but I’ve had no problems with it since I bought it. I enjoy using it with my Apple laptop.

Purchased a new MacBook recently and this devise was a lifesaver. Wish it came with more USB Ports, but I piggybacked a 2nd one to accomplish goal.

If you need to connect many/older peripherals to your new computer that only has USB-C (thank you Apple for yet ANOTHER "standard?) this is a good way to do it.

I ended up buying an extra one after using the first one for months. It helps me to connect to external hard drive to my Samsung tablets. This made my tablet more useful than laptop now.

Good for what you pay. Apple insisted on the dongle life so here we are. I prefer this dongle as it is made with the ports I need. I also trust belkin as a brand.

The HDMI output, USB hub, and the SD reader, all worked flawlessly. I could not test the power pass-through for charging as my laptop does not support USB-C charging. The strange problem I had was with the Ethernet port. I could run days at a time with no issues as long as I wasn't having video calls (Teams, Zoom, WebEx, etc.) Any time I'd start a call, a couple of minutes in everyone would start telling me my video froze and they couldn't hear me, yet I could still see their video and hear them. That would last about 10-15 seconds then all network functionality would stop. At first I thought it was my network switch, and network would be restored after I rebooted it. After upgrading to a newer switch, the issue persisted. I discovered when it happened, that if I unplugged and reconnected the Ethernet cable between the Belkin hub and the switch, connectivity would be restored. The same thing would repeat during a video call, but if I ended the video call it would remain connected until the next call. The strange part is I had no issues transferring large files at far greater bandwidth than a video call required. I ended up switching to a Wavlink brand hub/dock and I no longer have any issues with networking.

Seems very useful with all the ports especially with the new Macbook. Haven't used long so cannot be sure of reliability

Had the options I I needed, not too many special add ons but what I needed to have comparable to a basic pc’s options

I returned the item because it heated up significantly. Very hot to the touch. Did not want this to damage my laptop.

For the price you pay, this hub is really cheaply made. Specially the USB ports are really hard to use, and it gets really hot.
