Customers are saying
Customers are delighted by the 4-Port USB Type-C Hub's numerous USB ports, ease of use, and high-quality build. Many appreciate its compact size and compatibility with various devices, finding it well-designed and practical. However, some users noted that the hub can get warm during use and that the cable could be longer. The product's positive aspects outweigh these minor drawbacks for most customers.

Can't go wrong with Belkin
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With the Lightning port becoming more prolific on today’s PC’s these are all but necessary. In the office I can make full use of the additional HDMI and spare USB ports. On client’s site I do use the Additional Ethernet port and it keeps things clean with networking tasks. Rarely do I use the SD card reader, if ever. As a note, there are a few of these similar breakout modules on the market and they do seem to be biased toward a Mac or the most minimal PC to expand the non-existents of ports or to charge via the USB-C port on the device. In my experience in engineering, I am constantly out of ports and on an already heavy ported PC I take full use in having the luxury of the Lightning port to expand the capabilities. Belkin is simply a name I’ve known, trusted and have used for many years. Also, with the name and devices like this, I don't have to worry about driver conflicts or support. In my case, Windows 10 sees it and doesn't even ask. That takes experience and product development over the years which I will gladly chose as the premium, because my time is worth more that trying to get a no-name brand to work on multiple platforms. It just gives me confidence and comfort that things are going to work are made with a precision and quality that will last. The unit has a nice weight, is solid and looks good for what it is.

Sleek and functional
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are looking for a portable and functional dock, I recommend getting this one. It however only works with laptops not desktops. I particularly like the USB-C and HDMI ports. The SD card slot and ethernet port is a plus. A lot of us use those USB for phone charging, this is an excellent addition to your mobile workstation!

A great option for USB-C systems
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great "hub". I have used it with Chromebooks, Macs, Samsung Phones, and PCs and it has performed flawlessly on all of them. The first thing that you notice is the very nice metal build, this thing feels like a quality device. The next item is the network connection, that is not very common on "hubs" so this is really more of a port replicator. The USB-C power pass thru is a nice touch, but that isn't supported on some devices. I have noticed that when you are using the HDMI for video, the power pass thru doesn't work. I have use this as a DEX hub for a Galaxy phone, needed ports for a newer Chromebook, and a go to for an ultraportable PC (and Mac). This is a great choice, my one issue is that the cable is too short. If it were 1 foot, this device would be perfect, but in most cases its just long enough to be in the way. I have used a USB-C extension with no issues on this device.

Should have purchased this first!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought a new 2-in-1 Dell XPS and of course it is really light, small, fast and cool, it doesn't have anything but two USB-C ports. Bought a fairly cheap hub to connect the wireless keyboard and mouse, ethernet, and an external monitor for the office and as soon as I pugged in the HDMI, it caused an error on the Dell. Checked with Dell and they looked through things and said it was probably the hub. Then decided to spend a bit more and got a Hyperdrive. It worked and it didn't. For some reason the Hyperdrive would not turn on all the time and it got really frustrating. After contacting Hyperdrive, they were really nice but ended up asking me to return the hub for a new one. Did that and when the new one showed up, same problem. Was so frustrated, just returned it and got the Belkin. Should have gone with Belkin from the start. No problems and everything works great!

A must Buy for MacBook
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So, I just got a MacBook Air 2019 model. its the gold with 128 GB. Got it for work and play. As it has all of the ports you used to get on a laptop or a old MacBook Pro. This thing is a must. I ports I used all of the time are the USB A ports, and the SD card port. its a big plus that it features a HDMI port, so making it a mobile laptop media hub is a now a thing. so now you can use to when you go to hotels. Another plus is the ethernet port. So this helps keeps your new MacBook, helps you do work or anything you might be doing on your MacBook. Also its easy to use, just plug and play.

Reliable and Sturdy
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought a cheap hub before, which was horrible, and needed a replacement. I've had good chargers from Belkin. This was a pretty pricey, but I had a coupon. I like that it only takes up one USB-C port. The old one took up two and I had to take off by laptop cover to use it. This one gets a bit hot, but I'm transferring huge video files, so that's unavoidable. But I like the different ports, especially the SD card reader, HDMI, and USB 3.0 ports. I'm hoping this one lasts really long because of the price. But it's been very reliable and sturdy so far.

Solid USB-C Adapter
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The good stuff... + Solid and durable build quality + USB 3.0 High performance + Charging pass-thru + Ethernet lights The quality solid build is noticeably right away. I do not see anywhere stating what the outer casing is made of, but they have me fooled if it isn’t aluminum especially since it has a bit of weight to it. The black sides are hard plastic and the cable is a thick and seems durable. The space gray coloring is almost spot on. I only notice a slight shade difference because I am evaluating it closely for this review. The USB 3.0 speeds impressed me, especially compared to a similar off-brand USB-C adapter that I had available for comparison. Speeds will vary based on the drive, but my 128GB Corsair GTX USB drive 131MB/s write and 418MB/s read (see notes below for qualifier). The same drive in the off-brand adapter performed at 50MB/s write and 420MB/s read. The charging pass-thru in the USB-C port is a nice feature. My MacBook Pro is a little sparse on ports with a whopping 4. Honestly, I doubt I’ll fill them, but it is nice to know that I can charge my Mac using the adapter. It’s also a requirement if you exceed 1.8 amps on the USB 3.o ports. More on that below. The Ethernet lights were a nice surprise. I didn’t realize those were there until I plugged the cable in. It did help in diagnosing a bad port on my switch too. Issues during my experience... - SD card performance could be better My SD card performance test on the Belkin didn’t fare so well compared to the off-brand adaptor. Using a MicroSD 64GB U1-10 in an adapter, the Belkin performed at 15MB/s write and 21MB/s read which is within specifications of the SD, but the off-brand performed noticeably better at 26MB/s write and 91MB/s read. I’m not overly concerned about the difference in performance in an SD. Other thoughts: I am happy with my purchase and I would recommend this product. They have an important note in the instructions that states the combined output of the two USB ports cannot exceed 1.8 amps; however, if you connect a USB-C power supply (60W max) to directly to the adapter, you can have a combined maximum of 3.0 amps. I tested drive performance using Blackmagic Disk Read Test and my personal random marker of “ProRes 422 HQ at 1080” seemed like an appropriate speed for consistent measurement. Nice Hub
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this hub to add usb-a ports and wired ethernet capabilities to a usb-c only MacBook Pro. The HDMI and SD card support are also very convenient features built into this hub. Works as advertised and have not had any issues with the hub. Although not officially listed as having iPad Pro support, it’s been my experience all features work with a 2020 iPad Pro. Find the regular price is high considering competitors have similar features at about half the price and officially support the iPad Pro. I only purchased because of good sale price which brought the price down close to competitor prices.

Good, but would've preferred right-side up ports
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This adapter is heavy-duty, well built, sleeks and looks good. The only reason it is not 5-stars is because the only thing I don't like about it is the fact that it feels inverted to me. When connected on the right side (where my USB-C port is), it sits right side up but the connections face towards the back (which is actually ok), but the USB 3.0 ports sit upside down (you'll know what I mean). Other than that, product is all of the above stated. Belkin, keeps churning out well-built products!

Good for what I need it for.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s good enough for what I need. I use it infrequently, and sometimes setting it up to project to another monitor is more of a pain than it is worth. I thought I would need it for an external keyboard and mouse, but I’ve grown to really like the MacBook Pro (2019) keyboard when I initially thought I would not. And I picked up a Magic Mouse which is Bluetooth, so the port issue quickly became moot for me. One nice thing about the bell in unit is that it adds network LAN port, and an HDMI. Those two plug adapters alone nearly cost what this belkin did, so it became a no brained. No driver changes were needed to make the network connection work, unlike some of the other port hubs that I had looked at were being reviewed as needing. Very small, easy to drop in my bag, although I rarely take it with me anywhere.

VERY NICE HUB
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like this device very much because of the extended capabilities. Super Useful
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent adapter, not too many ports and theyre all ports I use frequently so it does not feel wasted. Overall, good for my computer needs.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have enjoyed the slim design of this product. I would have liked the cord to be a few inches longer to provide the length needed to rest on my desk when elevated by a laptop stand.
