It took quite a while to set up these two hubs as we were working at peak season as editors, so opportunity to set up and use for our 20+ tb externals was rare. Now that they're up and running, I am satisfied with their performance. In fact, I plan on getting at least one more so I can share the bank with at least one other computer. I would recommend to a friend, ... as long as they had over a dozen external HD's.

I picked this up because I had some store credit I had to use. It's a 7 port USB hub (non-powered), it allows me to plug in multiple devices to my laptop, and only need to remove one cable when I un-dock my computer for the road. Note: This is a non-powered hub do not connect portable hard drives that draw power via the USB port - it will not work.

Works well ,very small does not take up space .very good price

The external power supply takes the load off the computer and gives more reliable service when using several usb devices at one time.

Just a usb hub but works on macs and pcs. The external power is nice

Most PCs have -- at most -- four USB ports. This device keeps lets you connect the host of USB peripherals you use every day (monitors, printers/scanners, camera, audio, label maker, scale -- whatever). It does plug in so it may be inconvenient for use with a portable laptop, but does the job for dedicated platforms.

I needed one, it was cost effective, met my needs, and so far made me happy I chose that particular one.

My pc was acting flaky with everything I had plugged into the usb ports. Added this powered hub and all is well, again. The only thing that could improve it is some heavy double-stick tape because it is so light, the cords pulled it all over until I taped it to the top of my tower.

Install and forget, connect any usb2.0 device to extend your setup. So far no complaints.

What can you really say about a USB hub? One thing I can say is that this unit is has faster transfer speed and is more reliable than my previous hub. I run a high-res scanner though this hub, so speed and no drops of signal are extremely important and this Belkin fits the bill perfectly.

Belkin is a great product. And I never have issues. Easy stick rests correctly in front of my screen.

For something thats "ON" 24/7 i can't complain..... if it ever goes out i'll buy another one! :)

Using my 2007 Sony VIAO laptop now as my desk PC; adding-on all the peripherals took the 2 available ports more than right-away. Neatly tied everything together with this powered hub (now it's a great charging spot too). I really like the straight-line flat design. Makes for a neat desktop.
