I have multiple hard drives I access at different times this has 7 inputs more then enough for what I need the only thing is you have to have it plugged into an outlet for power if you want to have more then 2 hard drives accessible at any time, so if you are traveling and working on the move and need to have more then 2 drives at any time it will not work.
