I use this powered hub with the Raspberry Pi to power not only the PI but also attached peripherals to reduce the power sourcing from the Pi. I have two that have been in operation for at least 9 months. No failures and performs with a wide variety of USB devices - wireless network devices, keyboard, mouse, temperature sensors, thumb drives and USB hard drives. It is my hub of choice when it really has to work.

The 7 ports on this device are just what I was looking for! I run a very large flash drive on one of the ports and have had no problems with all of the other 6 used. Belkin does make a quality product.

Absolutely love this hub. It's thin enough to put anywhere. I even used industrial velcro to adhere this to side of monitor which now makes it very convenient. I should include velcro in the package so people can adhere to something so it doesn't flop all over the place. Very thin and light, can easily move wherever you need it.

I have been using the product for over 2 months now. It is a great little product and works perfectly. I have hooked up my Webcam, Gaming mouse and keyboard, External Drive, USB Drive and it works with all. No driver installation is needed. Just plug it to the USB port and you are all set. I have another Belkin 4 port USB hub as well. And it is great too. This is a powered USB hub so that is an advantage. I definitely recommend this product.

I can't say enough about this product. 3 of us went to Scotland and we all had phones and we all had tablets. Instead of 6 wires needing a European plug going into the wall, there was only 1. We used zip ties to keep our own cords from getting jumbled, but this was better than great. I used it again when we went to Cancun. I liked this so much, I bought 5 for Christmas gifts. It also works great for multiple inputs on your pc, whether a lap top or a desk top. I bought an extra one for myself to keep with my lap top and to stay in my back pack.

i picked this up because i only have 2 usb ports on my macbook pro and i need more. it works perfect but people please understand that you can not plug your iPhone into the hub it will not charge and will not sync to the computer. apple has already said that their device won't work on hubs, so be smart.

I have this mounted on the underside of my monitor stand, so it's always easy to reach. I already have five USB devices permanently plugged in, with two devices I use temporarily. Normally, I would have to unplug one device to use another. Plus it's a hassle to move the computer out so I can use the USB ports on the back. This is a perfect solution. I can keep everything that I need plugged in, while still allowing extra ports for the temporary devices.

The Belkin name is always a great purchase. This Hub is so fast and reliable, I'm going to buy a second one!

Good USB hub, with large capacity for several devices. Plug and play makes it very easy.

This is super helpful when you have limited outlets, it can charge your phone, all you have to do is plug in the usb side of your phone charger into it and then connect your phone and boom, easy to use charging hub that fits in any small corner of your workspace.

I've had no problems and it allows me to charge several devices at once without needing to have the computer on.

This hub is great for my limited space. Plug-and-play compatibility and Belkin quality. Great product!

This does what it says it does it well. I, personally, like how the ports are all in one line. However, having a "drumstick" shape can make it difficult to put this hub in a cramped space. If you have a Apple SuperDrive and it doesn't work when plugged into this hub, it's not the hub's fault. The SuperDrive needs to be plugged directly into one of your Mac's USB ports. This caused me some confusion before Google came to the rescue. Otherwise, this hub is great!

The only "down" side is that when you start plugging USB cords into it, if you don't have it adhered or affixed to something somehow (adhesive, tape, velcro, etc.), it will generally get dragged in whichever direction the USBs take it. I have it velcroed to a desk speaker right now -- not the ideal placement, but it's functional.

I love this USB hub. My laptop only comes with 3 USB ports on it, and with this hub, I now have 9 USB ports.

After some problems receiving the hub (US mail didn't deliver at first) it finally showed up and worked great right out of the box. Used a velcro strip to mount it on top of my desktop where it takes up almost no room.

We use this in our home office. I has worked great so far.
