I have a much larger version of this (also from Belkin) from a few years ago that also charges my phone. That old version is pretty fat and much longer and a QUITE a bit heavier than this but it also charges the phone so if you need more of a universal charger, that might be the route you'd want to go instead of this. That said, if you need the very specific niche feature that this device gives you, I'd say it's work it. It's biggest selling point is that it's very small and light. This is the definition of a throw it in your purse (or even pocket) and forget about it kind of device. It's just a little bit larger than the normal Apple Watch charger. I was really expecting a much larger device (close to the size of the 6700 mAh one that I already owned) but I was blown away by how small this was and then even more so by how light weight it is. I can't stress this enough. If you're ordering it online or you've just never gotten a chance to see one out of the box, you'll probably be thrown off by how small and light this is. So setup is just.. nothing. Take it out of the box and slap your watch on it. Plug it in to the wall with the micro USB (USB-C would have been nice, but sadly it's micro USB) to charge it up again and whenever you're going about your day and you need a boost to your watch, just slap it on the charger for a couple minutes. It really just does what it's supposed to and the only down side is that it only charges your watch. So do you need this? You should be able to judge that yourself. If you're going through your day and your watch is close to dead at some point in the day before you're capable of charging it at home, you probably could use this pretty well. It's so small and light that it'll fit in your pocket or purse without you really noticing it's there so you'll have an extra couple of full charges for your watch basically anywhere in the world when you need it.

    Power On-the-Go

What can I say about this Belkin ‘Boost Charge’ 2200 Power Bank for Apple Watch? Well, it has a slim profile, is lightweight and compact - made to be easily portable for on-the-go charging, and won’t take up much space in a pocket, backpack, purse, or briefcase. I only wish there might have been some type of simple carrying pouch included to put it in. Once the power pack is fully charged (which is fast, as well) it can provide up to 63 hours of battery life to your Apple Watch. There are LED indicator lights on one end that show how much battery life your power bank has left. And it doesn’t seem to get hot, like other types of battery packs sometimes do. Plus, this Belkin power pack supports Apple Watch’s ‘nightstand mode’, which is a handy feature to be able to still use while charging your watch, whether you’re traveling or for daily home use. I can recommend this one.

Apple watch has limited charge length, much less than a phone. This item is supposed to extend the charge time. I didn't notice any additional length of charge. Needed another charger anyway so no loss. Still love the phone for all it short comings!

Portable backup battery for your Apple Watch

The Belkin Apple Watch Power Pack 2200 is roughly the width of 2x 42MM Apple Watch and about the same height as 2x Apple Watch stacked on top of each other. The Belkin Power Pack 2200 has an inbuilt Apple Watch charger and it's magnetic, just like an Apple original. I had no issue charging my Series 3 Apple Watch and there were no compatibility errors/warnings. I was keen to get the Belkin Apple Watch Power Pack 2200 because I work long hours and use my Apple Watch to discretely wake me when I have to leave at 5am. This means I needed another charger and I like that I can have this in my bag and charge my watch on the plane, without having to worry I will be stuck on a flight that doesn't have in-seat power. I would have given the Belkin Apple Watch Power Pack 2200 a perfect 5 stars if it had come with a small carry pouch that would keep the included USB cable together.

    Convenient and Compact Watch Charger

This Apple Watch charger is both compact and convenient. It easily fits into your backpack or bag so you can bring it with you when needed. It is convenient because it is so easy to use. There is no programming or difficult settings, just an on/off button and an LED indicator for the battery level. I've tested this out several times and it has worked seamlessly and as expected. After a couple charges the battery level still remains half charged. Overall, I like this charger because it's easy to use and it works well.

I bought this because my watch loses battery halfway through the DayOne presume because I’m active. I bought this to be able to recharge on the go. Well it’s slow. Very wow charging. Loses charge way too quickly to have as emergency in bag and the size is too big to put comfortably in a pocket and charge watch bit just small enough to easily get lost in chair cushion or under a few pages of work on my desk. I cannot recommend.

So far so good. Try not to let your Apple watch depleted of charge, otherwise, it is a slow process to charge it back up with this power bank.

I am fortunate to have the previous generation of this product, which is a larger unit, which likely contains a larger battery and allows for iPhone charging as well as charging for my Apple Watch. While an amazing product, I never used it to charge anything but my Apple Watch. This latest generation is much smaller, lighter, and offers much charging power for your Apple Watch. Whether on travel, or when I'm at work and realize my Apple Watch didn't charge at is should, this allows me a chance to get it charged up instead of having to do without it until I get home and charge it. I can charge it without being tied to an AC outlet and having to remember to have my watch charger with me. The fact the charger is built in, and it is cordless (is a battery charger), I can easily charge anyway, sitting in my car waiting for my appointment time, sitting at my desk, or even while I'm home and don't feel like going upstairs to let it charge where I charge my phone and watch each night. This says 63 hours of watch power - and I don't debate that, I'm sure it has at least that much in it. One charge gives me 16 hours (my watch lasts 16 hours), so this would let me charge my watch 4x before it needs to be charged, and that seems a very fair statement. The other great thing about this is the speed at which it charges your watch. It took my watch from below 50% to 100% in less than an hour, I think it might have even been more like 40 minutes at most. If you own an Apple Watch, you should have one of these in your computer bag, purse, etc. for those times (and we all have them) when your watch either discharges to 10% before it is even 9am, or for when you may have forgotten to charge it. I'll take this with me on travel and use to charge my watch each night I'm on travel.

The Boost Charge Power Bank for Apple Watch definately lives up to its name providing a quick charge for your watch. The instructions are pretty minamalist but it's pretty simple to use so it doesn't require much guidance. It has 4 LED indicators to show the current power level and a button to press when ready to charge a watch. The magnetic circular cradle pretty much resembles the charger that comes with an Apple Watch so there is no mistaking where to lay it for charging. It does not come with a USB power adapter and requires that you use one of your own which should not be a problem for anyone because if you are like me there are several laying around from various other devices that you own. It comes with a mini USB-A cable that is almost so short it's not even useful (8 inches) and Belkin might as well have left that out too to save a little more cost. The battery capacity is great. I'm not sure how they came up with the 63 hours of battery life for the watch and I'm not sure how to even validate that claim, however, from my experience with a full charge on the Boost I was able to fully charge my watch 3 times with seemingly a little power to spare in the Boost (1 of 4 on the battery level indicator). I've never really measured the number of hours my watch gets on a charge but from normal use I can get a full day plus a little more.

I don’t know anyone who has a wearable that hasn’t experienced battery fatigue at an inopportune moment. Latter part of the day, and about to do a workout. Worn overnight for sleep monitoring, but you have a long activity first thing in the morning. It can be hard to keep your smart watch charged. If you have an Apple Watch, especially the earlier generation, managing battery life can be challenging. The Belkin Boost Charge is a welcome addition to anyone sporting an Apple Watch. The Boost Charge comes in the standard, unassuming accessory box – just like all of Belkin’s small accessories. You basically have the battery and a cable for charging. It’s all pretty simple. It’s a battery bank with a built-in wireless charging pad for your Apple Watch. Of course, it works, providing additional usage time by replenishing your battery while on the go, but the beauty of this is just the fact they thought of it. The convenience is unquestionable. It’s very compact, and packs enough mAh to serve you for at least a week – more for those that are less active or more charge conscious. This is one of those products you can’t go wrong with. It’s convenient, useful, and compact – designed for your Apple Watch. It’s can’t miss.
