Portable and Powerful USB Charger
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Small but powerful device with collapsible plugs, which I found very convenient, and is easy to carry anywhere. I have powered my cell phone, tablet and even my wireless pad and all were charged really fast. What I care about most, is that Belkin is a reliable brand that I can trust will not break my devices. Each port has a dedicated 12W, so there’s no power slow down when you charge more than one device, but that also means that if you only use one port the maximum power you will get is 12watts, and not 24watts. Each port has a dedicated power output of 12W / 5 V / 2.4 A. However 2.4amps is more than enough to efficiently power almost any wireless pad or device available on the market. So far it is a powerful, portable and good looking USB adapter, I am very pleased.

This bad-boy charged my wife's S20 5G and my S20 5G+ just as fast as our OEM single chargers did. And it charged our 20,000 mAh Belkin portable charger faster than it's original OEM plug. Good choice. I would certainly recommend to a friend.

So my first recommendation is to pay the money and get quality and safety Each USB A port outputs a max 12W. That's more than enough to get a decent charging speed but under the 20W the new iPhone 12 requires. The Belkin doesn't double up or divide (depending on how you look at it) so it's not that you will get a max 24w on 1 USB A and then it drops to 2x12W. It's 12W max per USB port. That all said, I had no issues or warnings using the Belkin to charge my iPhone 12 and Apple Watch with a respective lightning or magsafe adapter. In a world where Apple no longer ships chargers, this makes for a good investment. My only watch out on the Belkin is the design is a little larger than I would like. The Belkin is about 2" tall and the plug is about 1.5" up. If you have vertical power outlets, placing this in the top outlet may block the lower outlet. It would be nice to see Belkin make this an even more compact unit. That said, happy that the plugs do fold up. All in - very happy.
