Not the best wireless charger

The Belkin BOOST CHARGE Wireless Charging Pad 15W is compatible with most lightweight plastic phone cases up to 3mm thick. If the phone case is thicker than 3mm, then this might cause charging issues. For isolation, please try to remove the phone case to see if that will make any difference.

Devices usually get warm when plugged into a power outlet, however, it’s a different thing if you mean it’s very hot. As long as the compatible devices is aligned properly on the pad, it should provide a flawless wireless charging up to 15W. Try plugging the unit into multiple outlets, avoid using phone cases thicker than 3mm (lightweight plastics only), or even charge another compatible device for further isolation.
