Unfortunately, we are having to return this item (we purchased 2) as it is very finicky. You have to remove the case and place the phone in the exact location in order for the charge to work. It is just as easy to plug in the phone charger, where you know the phone will continuously charge.

      Hi Jana,

The Belkin WIA002 will only charge through lightweight phone cases, up to 3mm thick. If you still have the wireless charger, please email us at [email protected], so that we can assist you with it. Include the relevant details and the link to this review for our reference.

This Belkin Wireless Charging Pad replaces a charging pad I purchased last March when I got my Samsung S20 Ultra. And it never worked - not for my phone, not for my Samsung Buds+, not for anything. I sent it back to be ‘fixed’ by the manufacturer, but what was returned wasn’t any better. Bad experience, for sure. Enter this Belkin 15W wireless charging pad. Right out of the box it worked perfectly. Since receiving it, I have successfully charged my Buds+, my Bose QC earbuds, and my Samsung S20 Ultra. This charging pad works with Qi enabled devices, and is compatible with Apple, Samsung, Google, and LG. Included is a 24W Quick Charge 3.0 power supply and a 4 ft USB-C to USB-A cable. The pad supports: • Supports Samsung® fast charging up to 12W • Supports Apple® fast charging up to 7.5W • Supports Google™ fast charging up to 12W. The pad has an LED light to indicate proper charging. The pad is made from a non-slip material that keeps the charging item in place, and the pad and all components have a two-year warranty. If the LED on the charging pad is solid white, it is either charging or finished charging. If the LED is a solid Orange, that suggests an error was encountered. With my Samsung S20 Ultra’s battery at 71%, I plugged it into its usual phone charger to see how long to a full charge. The phone indicated that it would take 35 minutes to charge to 100%. I then placed the S20 Ultra (with an Otterbox Defender case installed) on this new Belkin Charging pad. The phone immediately recognized that it was on a Qi charger and reported that it would take about 55 minutes (versus 35 minutes) to complete. I was curious if the Otterbox case was playing any role in the 20-minute difference, but no, it wasn’t. The phone (minus the case) also reported 55 minutes to a full charge. Curiosity satisfied! The 20-minute difference in time doesn’t bother me at all. Just lay your Qi-compatible phone or other Qi-enabled device on the charging pad and let it do its job. No complaints at all with this charging pad. It has worked perfectly each time I’ve used it. Plug and play! I’m giving this charger 5 stars.

Great Charge pad for Iphone 11 Pro Max

Easy to setup just the pad usb cable and wall plug. Recognized my iphone 11 pro max immediately and does a good job charging it fast. I also have some bose earbuds that have wireless charging in their case and they work perfect on this as well. I haven't had any overheating issues with anything, the phone and earbuds do get warm but that's just the nature of the power transfer from pad to item. I can't think of any downsides to this item it does exactly what it tells you it will with no fluff or issues. If you are ready to jump into the world of wireless charging this is it.

Fast Charging for 15 Watt Capable Devices

Wireless charging seems to be the way the industry is going and the higher wattage chargers are becoming the norm. In the box you get a wall adapter with USB Type A, USB-A to USB-C cable, and the charging puck itself, takes USB-C input. I wish they would have went USB-C on both the puck and the wall outlet. The puck has rubber grommets on both the top and the bottom. This helps keep the phone from sliding around once you have it on the charger. The design is great for a night stand charger. Many manufacturers will put a LED on the charger but Belkin went without one on this model which reduces night time ambient light. The build quality on all components seems well made and would survive a drop if it fell off a table or desk. Charging time seemed to be quite a bit faster than my 7 watt wireless charger, which is why I would imagine most people would buy this. Like most wireless chargers, the phone will throttle based on heat and battery level. I didn’t notice it getting that much warmer than my other charger. This is a good all around wireless charger, but nothing special and would have been nice to have a USB Type C on the wall dongle.

    Far From Fast Charging

Overpriced POC is far from fast wireless charging. I set my phone on it before bed at roughly 30%, confirmed it was actually charging, and went to sleep. 6 or 7 hours later, the phone/charger hadn't been disturbed all night and it was sitting at 54%. Just to make sure it wasn't the outlet, I tried another location - same thing. Usually Belkin is pretty reputable, but I'd pay the higher price for the Samsung name charger in this instance.

There are numerous brands of chargers and wireless chargers available for phones nowadays, but Belkin is one company I always find myself coming back to. This wireless charger definitely holds true to being high quality and reasonably priced for what it provides. First, the look of the charger is very sleek and it has some weight to it so you can tell there is a high build quality with this charger. The rubber grips on both the top and bottom of the charger are great small details that set this apart from other cheap wireless chargers as they prevent your phone from sliding off the charger or even worse if it is a light and cheap charger and it does not have the rubber grips on the bottom I`ve had the entire charger slide off a side table. The usb-c plug is a nice touch as well and the fact that it includes the charging brick is also a nice additional feature though it would have been nice if the charging brick and cable was all usb-c and not just usb-c to usb-a. Moving to the actual performance of the charger it is exactly what you would expect. I used a few different apple products to test the performance and they all charged much quicker than your normal charger that apple includes with their products. Also the small indicator light on the front is a nice touch so you can be sure that the phone is aligned so that it is actually charging though I did not have any issues of it needing to be perfectly aligned for it charge as with some other wireless chargers. Overall, for the price, this charger is definitely worth it just for the fast charging capabilities alone, but the fact that it includes the wall brick as well makes it a definite value when you combine that with the great build quality.

There are lots of wireless phone chargers out there but if you happen to have a phone that supports faster high-power wireless charging, this Belkin Boost Wireless Charging Stand is a good way to go. The phones that support it include the latest Samsung Galaxy and Apple iPhones, among others. All other phones that support wireless charging will still charge but won't charge as fast those that support this high-power fast charging protocol supported by some newer models.. Be aware that most wireless charging pads and stands operate at at between 5 and 10 watts. This Belkin Boost model runs at 15 watts (a 10-watt model also is available). So it will save you a few minutes in terms of total charge time. Still, this is not as fast a direct wired connection to the charger. To top off my Samsung Galaxy 10e phone from 70 percent charge, this Belkin wireless charger was about 10 minutes slower than the direct wired charging option. That's still pretty fast compared to some wireless chargers. The other bonus is the phone does not seem to get quite as hot as it did powering up on some other lower power wireless charger, so it this Belkin model is presumably better for long term battery life. And in case youi are wondering, no you don't have to take off the phone case, unless it is an especially bulky one. Wireless charging worked fine with the thin case on my phone. Like most wireless charging options, this one is simple. Plug in the compact 24-watt power brick (the Belkin comes with its own brick so you don't need to use the one that came with your phone), attach the included heavy duty USB C cable to the round charging pad, lay phone on the pad. The phone screen should display "wireless fast charging" the percentage of charge remaining and the estimated charging time. A small white LED on the pad illuminates when it is charging. My only beef is that it came with zero instructions (it would be nice to know what the LED indicates. Does it change color?, and if so, what do those colors mean?) Also , I was initially confused about which side was supposed to be up. Turns out the plain featureless flat side is the correct answer, as opposed to the carved turbine design that faces down.

      Hi, Creepychicken,

The Belkin WIA002 supports Samsung® fast charging (up to 12W), Apple® fast charging (up to 7.5W), and Google™ fast charging (up to 12W). Thus, its speed may also vary on the activities you have on your phone while charging. You may try to force close all the applications running on the background and make sure not to use the phone while charging and observe the connection. In case you have future concern, please feel free to communicate with us over email at BelkinCares@belkin.com with your contact info and the link of this review, for reference.

      Hi, Scott,

The Belkin WIA002 Wireless Charging Pad 15W is compatible with most lightweight plastic cases up to 3mm, and the charging coils need to be aligned for the charger to work properly. You can try to remove the phone case or slightly reposition your phone to ensure its working with the wireless charger.

I use this with an iphone XS, no case on the phone but its practically impossible to find the right spot where the phone charges. I'll orient it such that I get the white charging light on the charger but couple of minutes into charging it'll turn orange, wonk wonk, its not charging anymore. I should have just returned it when I had the chance.

Excellent charger. It worked perfectly with my LG G8 ThinQ phone, but I did have to remove my extremely thick phone case. (The case for my phone is a wallet style and therefore the phone is secured within a plastic case which is attached to the inside of a pleather wallet case.) Surprisingly, it almost worked with my phone’s case on, but it would only charge briefly before losing the connection. With it nearly connecting through that thick of a phone case, I would expect it to easily charge through most lightweight, single material cases. I really appreciate that this came with a 4ft long cord, as opposed to a cheaper, short one. I also like that it has a power indicator light on the front of the pad, which illuminates a white color when charging and a yellow-orange color when it becomes disconnected – either due to poor phone placement on the pad or too thick of a phone case. If you have multiple Qi compatible devices with different types of charging ports, then this charging pad will be very useful and convenient to have in your household. Its compatibility with a multitude of devices will eliminate hunting down the right cord or having to switch cords in outlets.
