HOWEVER, other family members have older versions of iphone and will NOT charge their phones at all. wish i would have known this before purchase, gifted to my dad who still has iphone 6s, and does not charge his phone. rated a 3 because of this downside. ):

My wife would often complain that she would wake up with a dead phone because her old pad wouldn't line up perfectly. This fixes that every time as it was actually designed with Apple since they don't have an official one themselves. I only wish it came in white!
