Customers are saying

Customers admire the BOOST UP 10W Qi Certified Wireless Charging Pad's ease of use, compatibility with various phones and cases, and its convenient stand functionality. Many appreciate the compact size and stylish design, while some users noted that their phones became warm during charging and that the power cord could be longer. The charging pad's ability to accommodate different phone orientations was also frequently praised. Overall, the positive feedback on ease of use and design outweighs the concerns about heat and cord length.

Just received my Belkin 10W Wireless Charging Stand and it's a blessing. This thing is so simple and easy to use. Inside the packaging is the stand and a micro usb charging cable that plugs into the back of it. Great addition to an office desk or a nightstand. Once you plug it in you simply just sit your phone on the front of the stand making sure the back is against the circular charging back and it should automatically start charging your phone. Works great with my iPhone X. I love it because I don't have to reach for my cord all the time. Side Note: It does charge through my Otterbox case, however, if you have a popsocket on the back like I do (and hopefully its one of the newer popsockets that snap off easily) you will have to take that off before it starts charging. This may be a dealbreaker for some but it works well for me. I recommend this to anyone looking for a quick and easy to use charging pad/dock.

Works great for propping up your phone by your bedside or at your desk, down side is it does not work with the protective case I have, may not be that way for all cases, but it is on mine. Would be 5 stars if not for that fact.

Works ok. If you have a regular sized case forget it. It won’t charge. Works fine without the case though. Not many people have a phone without a case so I would say it’s a no-go for most. If you have a thin case maybe.

With Apple’s recent announcement that they would not be coming out with their own wireless charging standard, it appears that the Qi standard will emerge as the winner. I’ve recently begun using Qi chargers with my iPhone 8, since my truck includes a Qi charger, so I thought it would be nice to have one for the house as well. This Belkin 10W charger comes with a USB charging cable, a wall plug adapter, and a the charging unit itself. Having the cable and adapter separately seems like it would allow you to plug into your existing USB outlets, but I think you may have to be careful to supply the right amount of power for the charger to function properly. The charger is fixed in an upright, angled position, allowing you to charge your phone on a table and still be able to see notifications and other things on the screen. It supports both portrait and landscape positioning, so you could use it to charge your phone while watching a video. I wish that Belkin had also allowed for the possibility of removing the charging pad itself so that it could be laid down flat if desired. I realize that they sell another charging pad that lays flat, but it would be much more versatile if they allowed us to choose whether to use it as a stand or a pad. The box states that there is an LED light that shows the status of the charging phone. Yes, there is an LED, but it’s either on or off. If the phone is in the stand, then the light is on. If the phone is not in the stand, then it’s off. It does not go out when the phone reaches 100% charge. So, the light is basically useless. Given the fact that it’s behind the phone anyway, you can safely ignore it, as it doesn’t add anything to the function of the charger. As a charger, the Belkin 10W charger works well. It couldn’t be easier to use--simply put the phone in the stand with the back of the phone against the charger, and you’re good to go. I haven’t done a scientific comparison, but it does seem to charge quicker than using a traditional charging cable. Is it worth spending $50 to buy one of these? That’ll depend on how much of a hassle you think it is to plug in a charging cable. Or perhaps you want your phone to be visible while charging--I think that’s the real reason to buy this. If you’re not one of the aforementioned people, you can probably get along just fine with your traditional charging cable. For the next version of this charger, I’d like to see Belkin make it possible to remove the pad from the stand. This would make it more versatile, as well as easier to travel with it. I do like this charging stand, and it’s well built, providing a convenient, elegant way to charge your phone, and it looks better than just having a cable lying across the table.

I was really excited for this charger, as I was leaving to believe it can charge my phone to 80% in 30 minutes. However that is not the case, it takes the usual 2 hours to fully charge it.

For any/all iPhone owners, one of the biggest issues they have is with the charge/sync cable. It frays easily, sometimes breaks and, overall, it’s just not as sturdy as we would all hope. For the charging part, this charger does quite a nice job and there is no wear and tear on the OEM cable you received with your phone. I have an iPhone XS Max and normally charge it every night with the OEM cable/AC plug the phone came with. Having used iPhones for quite some time, I’ve gone through my fair share of broken, frayed and lost cables. Seeing as the XS Max had wireless charging, I thought it was a great feature to take advantage of considering the issues with the OEM cables. I have used wireless chargers before with my Note 8. Initially it was cool however the Samsung wireless charger was finicky. If you placed your phone on it incorrectly, even by a small amount, the phone wouldn’t charge, and you wouldn’t know this until the following morning. I had that same thought when using this charger however that doesn’t seem to be an issue with this Belkin charger. It’s has a small footprint so it shouldn’t take up too much room and there are rubber pads on the bottom to prevent the charger from sliding around too much. To start, it’s not that hard to place your phone incorrectly in this thing. It’s vertical (my previous wireless charger was flat, so there’s only one way it can sit in the cradle. You can also place your phone horizontally in the charger however I generally keep mine in portrait orientation. I’m also using an Otterbox Symmetry case on my phone and there is no issue with using that case and this charger. I believe it will work with cases up to 3mm thick? I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure most “normal” cases should work with this charger. Charger does work pretty fast. I normally charge my phone at bedtime and I simply place my iPhone in the cradle and, next morning, it’s fully charged. Last I checked I think I got about 20% charge after 10-15 minutes or so? I think that’s fine so no issues there for me. I read another review here about a user complaining this charger caused touchscreen issues with the phone. I was a bit hesitant to use this however, after a week or so of use, I don’t see any issues with the display or touch screen sensitivity. Overall, it’s a very convenient charger for your nightstand or office desk. You simply plop it into the cradle to charge and pick it up whenever you’re ready to go. No more plugging/unplugging the charger into your phone so it’s very easy and convenient.

---HIGHLIGHTS--- Fast Charger Compatibility, Universal Qi Compatibility, Upright Charging in Portrait or Landscape mode, Fits Standard and Plus Size Phones, Quick Charge 3.0 compatibility Included in the box is the charging stand, 18 watt A/C wall adapter, and a USB to micro USB cable. --PROS— Fast Charger compatibility with phones that support it. 7.5 watts for Apple, and 9 watts for Samsung. I am using this stand with a Apple iPhone and have noticed that it charges much faster than my standard wireless charger. The convenience of being able to charge a device without having to connect it to a cable. Upright charging in landscape and portrait mode allows the phone to be seen and used while charging. Cable simplification. More and more devices are Qi wireless charger capable, so this charger will work with many of the latest Apple and Android phones. Reduces wear and tear on the device port. Quick Charge 3.0 compatibility. This standard charges compatible devices to 80 percent in 35 minutes. The wall adapter and cable are separately Quick Charge compatible without using the stand. --CONS— Cases that are too thick can block the wireless charge. Make sure the case on your phone is rated as compatible with wireless charging. --BOTTOM LINE— I have used a few other wireless chargers and this one is my favorite by far. I am using it at work with my Apple iPhone. I love the stand design over the pad design because since it is upright, I can easily see it and use it while it is charging. I highly recommend this fast and reliable wireless charger!

The Belkin 10W charging stand is a very nice charger. Its form factor is a little larger than others that I have used, but my iPhone 10X Max sits securely in the stand and it charges well. It is a bit deceiving due to the slot on the bottom, so I didn't think that my phone would charge horizontally. I was wrong, it charges very well horizontally as well by placing it on top of the brackets. I have never had a bad Belkin product and this one works great. Always fine quality products. The USB connector on the back fits snug and tight unlike other other cheaper chargers. Again, the Belkin quality really makes a difference.

I am lucky if I get it to stay charging for more than 15-20 minutes. Yes, I have an Otter Box on my phone, but that made no difference with my previous wireless charger which I will use again. If I had the box I would take it back.

      Hi, Ricky,

The Belkin BOOST UP Wireless Charging Stand 10W supports fast charging for Apple and Samsung Qi-enabled devices, and 5W for other Qi-enabled devices. You can try to remove the phone case or close any running applications on the background to see if that will make any changes.

Wireless charging is one of those features that is by no means necessary, but is great to have because of its convenience. No more do you have to reach down behind your nightstand because your charging cable fell off, or do you have to go look and see where your charging cable is. With wireless charging, you can simply purchase one (or a few) and place them around your house/work so that you can simply drop your phone on it when you need to charge. The biggest issue I have with wireless charging, is the price and the various terminology to describe their charging capabilities. The latter is not isolated to charging pads alone. For a little Qi pad stuck in some plastic, charging pads can be a bit overpriced. Luckily, they do tend to go on sale frequently. Belkin is a quality brand, so I always feel confident buying their products. This Belkin charger feels a little cheap (especially for the price) but it's easy to use and charges (certain phones) fast. And you can use it in landscape mode or portrait mode. I'm personally not sure of the benefits of having landscape mode, I guess if you were watching a movie (maybe for a screen saver or clock on your night stand?), so for me it's unnecessary but I always like options. While the plastic feels cheap, it's built well in the sense that it's really sturdy and your phone won't slide out of place. The Qi pad is large enough so that most any phone will charge (since some phones vary the placement of the Qi charging connections, sometimes placement, especially on a flat charging puck can be a little finnicky). My only real qualm, and it is NOT Belkin's fault, is that my Pixel 3 XL doesn't fast charge on this stand. Google only unlocks its fast charging in the Pixel Stand which is a shame. But my wife has an iPhone XS and her phone charges very rapidly with this charger. Maybe not as fast as a lightning cable plugged directly in, but she certainly hasn't complained about the charge time. All in all, this is a great product, but it's a bit pricey given the cheap build (and I don't mean cheap in a bad way, I only mean it when taking into account it's high MSRP). But if you can get this stand on sale, I think it's a no brainer purchase.

Couple of things did not work for us. My phone did not hold secure to the charger which was an issue. Also the stand up feature is cheaply made and does not retract. It can only be used in the stand up position so we decided to return it.
