I've been wanting a good, wireless charging stand for a while now and when I saw the Belkin charger that allowed me to place my phone either vertically or horizontally beside my bed I knew that I wanted to give it a try. When it arrived I went to set it up and it was a little strange because it looks like it'd set up one way but then looking at the box picture quickly showed me how to orient it so that it was correct. I set it up and plug it in and put my phone on charge..yep, my iPhone XS Max immediately began charging and after about 10 minutes on the pad it had fast charged so I was pretty confident in the charging stand at this point. Still, until you test it out overnight you just never know. I did notice that just about any way in which I put the phone on the charging stand it would charge, much better than my cheaper, non-Belkin pad that you have to sort of lie the phone down in a certain area. This thing allows you to place it just about anywhere. This is a huge aspect of using a charging pad or stand in that if you have to place in a very specific area and fail to your phone may not be charged and ready when you need it so in that respect I feel this is a huge issue that Belkin got right so kudos to them for this! So night time comes around and I set my alarm, put on my clock (which stays on all night) and put the phone on the charging stand. It's nice that you do get haptic feedback to tell you it's on the stand and is charging. There is also a nice, soft light that shows the status of the charge on the top of the stand, which is slightly behind the phone (we don't need blinking lights lights to keep us awake so excellent design decision). The light stays on when fully charged and blinks when charging. If you don't see the light then nothing is happening in regards to charging. So if in doubt, it is nice to just look at the light to ensure you're charging, or fully charged without having to turn on the phone to check. Next morning I wake up and the phone is fully charged and everything worked just fine. I have been using this for about two weeks now and not on iota of issue. The phone always charges fully and quickly and I love this product so much I just may end up buying one for my wife's iPhone 8 Plus as well. This is the stand I've been looking for and I'm very, very happy with it!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I bought this as a gift and WHAT A LET-DOWN! First, the “light” to show you it is charging is so small We didn’t see it- therefore, we didn’t realize that it wasn’t charging the entire time we had it plugged in. Then- to get it to work it must remain plugged in. Not wireless at all!

Overall, I really do like this charger. It does a good job of charging my iPhone 8 even through my Thule case. It charges regardless of whether the phone is vertical or horizontal which is especially nice if you are watching a movie at the same time. My only complaint is that the device does not automatically stop charging my phone once the battery is fully charged. It doesn't get hot like an in-wall charger but it still displays the charging symbol. Other than that...it's pretty darn good.

It works and does what it's supposed to do but it's overpriced. Should be priced half as much. Price does not always equate to performance. The form factor is nice and the charge speed for wireless charging is pretty good compared to a Samsung one that I have. Also, the stand is what makes this stand out as it provides a nice viewing angle for if you want to watch content on your device while charging it wirelessly. I recommend the product but not at its current price point.

I’ve had it for only 1 month before it stopped working

Works well with my Spigen case and metal plate on the back for my magnetic mount in the car. It does not overheat as some cheaper ones i have had do. You can charge vertically or horizontally. There is a nice tilt angle to display and or use the phone while it’s charging and is easy enough to use as just a stand on the table or wherever by just unplugging the cord in the back. The price is a bit high but so is its excellent performance.

Really like this wireless charging stand for my iPhone XS Max at work. It holds the phone at just the right angle to watch shows on and works with either orientation. Also, the way it sits in the cradle it ensures it sits right every time. Overall, definitely recommend this and love the flexibility of how you use it. The only thing I wish it did was fold up so I could travel with it but outside of that it's perfect and works perfectly.

I hate this product. Never could get it to work. I took it to the store where I purchased it and they said it did work however I had to totally disassemble my phone to get it to connect.

I use this primarily for an iPhone XR at work and it worked like a charm. My previous charging pad worked OK but often wouldn’t charge my phone through a case even though the case is thin and was specifically marked as being compatible with wireless charging. I was never certain if the problems I had were the case or the charger, and I picked up this Belkin Charging Stand in the hopes that it wasn’t really my case after all. Sure enough, this Belkin wireless charger consistently charges my phone through that same case with no apparent issue at all and that makes wireless charging a viable option for me for the first time… ever. It works so well with my iXR that I can charge it upright, laid sideways across the “arms” of the cradle, or even upside down. Most of the time I charge my phone in the normal upright position, but a few times -- long days of back-to-back conference calls for example -- I’ve needed to charge the phone AND use a wired headset at the same time, and in those situations being able to charge the phone sideways or upside down on the stand keeps the power flowing and the connector port exposed at the same time. 2 things this back from being a 5 star device to me: 1) The chargers own connector port should be USB-C, micro-USB is increasingly outdated. 2) One of the benefits of wireless charging is that it frees up the phone’s physical connector port, but in wireless stands like this the connector port is all-too-often left inaccessible which defeats that benefit. In this case it’s not so bad since the design works even with my phone in other orientations, so it’s workable, but it would be preferable if future stand designs allowed the phone's connector to remain accessible for increased user flexibility.

Sales rep said this would be no problem with my I Phone with an Otter Box cover, didn't work and ended up returning to store

Purchased 05/10/2020 and on 06/01/2020, USB charger cable that came with it is already loose. Can hardly use 'coz you have to wiggle it to a certain position to charge for a second and then turnoff.

I bought into wireless charging after getting my first one. The convenience is great since I have my phone sitting down next to me at work most of the time. Why not be charging? I have 4 wireless chargers now, two where the phone lays flat and two stand chargers. The stand chargers are the best, and this one surpasses my other for a few reasons, even though that one is also awesome. Two reasons put this one ahead my other stand charger: The angle that the phone stands at and the fact that it has sides. I'll explain both. On my other stand charger, the phone lays back just enough that I have to sit more upright to get things like Face ID to work. The angle isn't bothersome while using the phone while it's on the charger, but I didn't realize how much I moved to get the phone or apps to unlock. With this Belkin, it unlocks every time without my having to move. The second thing is that it has sides on the area where the phone sits, so the phone is more secure. I've knocked my phone off the other charger a few times. The phone is much more secure on this charger. In addition to those thing, it's a very fast charger. I would recommend this Belkin Wireless Charger to anyone.

It quit working after 1 day. I thought that it might not be able to go through my phone case, so I took it off. I made sure that the outlet was working. But it turned out to be the charger.

Right out of the box it would not work on either of my two iPhones, a XR or 8+. It's very cheaply made. I guess others have had luck with it, but it's not a high quality device.

I have had the flat charging pads but when you want to tap for time or snooze the alarm you have to pick it up. This is nice because it stands vertical or horizontal while wireless charging your phone. Came with the stand and fast charging cable. Very pleased. Just wish they had one with a way to charge your watch on the same device.

My review title may give you the wrong impression. The Belkin Wilreless Charging Stand works perfectly fine with any of the devices listed (basically iPhone 8 - current gen). It charges quickly. There are two reasons for the review title and 4 stars instead of 5. They are: 1. The stand is in a fixed configuration that may not be the most secure position, depending on the case you use for your phone. A thick case will mean your phone is precariously positioned. Some ability to customize the fit would be extremely helpful. 2. Certain cases will block the charging. For instance, if you have a pop socket, not only will you have a hard time getting the phone to balance on the stand, it may not charge. If you have a pop socket and credit card holder in your case, it almost certainly will not charge. This may be because the pop socket keeps it too far from the power source, so maybe that relates more to the lack of customizable fit. However, it seems like a quality charger. I just wish it were adjustable.

If you’re looking for a decent wireless charging stand this is a great option. It’s Belkin and my experience with their products is that they are great quality and reliable. This is as expected. Has the added bonus of not being tied to only one type of device so if you decide to switch from iPhone to Galaxy you won’t have to look for a new option (or if someone else in your house uses a different device than you). Also allows you to charge in landscape mode so you can watch videos while charging if you’d like. I have noticed the slight buzz/high pitch hum when charging just like I do with the Boost Up charging stand for iPhone and Apple Watch so despite Belkin saying the issue shouldn’t occur (at least for the other Boost up that I mentioned) there apparently is a problem. It’s not overwhelming for me but it can be annoying. That’s something to consider. I’m not sure if this happens with other wireless chargers too but if not then hopefully it’s something Belkin can fix.

I have a confession to make. I didn't use this charging stand myself. My wife stole it from me when it arrived. We purchased iPhone X's last year and it was her first phone with Wireless (Qi) charging. I bought her an earlier Belkin wireless charging base for it, but consistently she'd wake up in the morning to a dead phone or an undercharged phone because she was not setting the phone properly on the mat at night. In comes the new 10W Charging Stand! Not only does it allow her the ability to set the phone upright, it ensures charging alignment with its base design. Also we moved her from 7W to 10W changing and her phone charging issues are in the past! The fast charging usually charges her fully even on short nights, and the base allows perfect alignment every time. Now I'm off to get a second one - For me this time!
