If you sit It down, it may initially charge, but after several minutes it’ll go off. You wake up in the morning and your phones not charged. That’s the only concern.

We recommend placing the wireless pad on a flat surface and ensure that the phone properly rests at the center to avoid disconnection. Turning OFF the phone vibration might also help. You can place the phone on the pad and it makes this thud sounds and actually moves the phone off the pad. It's soo annoying that I've given up on the thing.
