This wireless charger takes forever for my devices to charge.

It’s point less and I’m better off with my sown charger

This is going to be a very short, and simple, review, considering the Belkin BoostUp 10W Charging Pad is, itself, an extremely simple product. After all, it’s just a charging pad (they do offer, for approx $10 more, a stand version). This is a Qi-enabled charging pad, and can charge any device capable of being charged by a Qi charger. This would include any Samsung Galaxy S6 & Note 5 (or newer), the iPhone 8 (and newer), and most handsets made in the past 3-4 years from other manufacturers. According to Belkin, the charging pad provides up to 10W of charging power, depending on your phone. I do, however, have one complaint…albeit, a somewhat minor one…and that is that, for the most part, it’s NOT the wattage that determines how quickly a charger can charge your device – it’s the amperage output that determines this. The reason I mention this is due to the fact that Belkin does not mention, anywhere, what the amperage output is. I have always liked Belkin products, as they are known for manufacturing higher-than-average-quality accessories, at below-average prices, plus they tend to back them up with better-than-average warranties. Case in point, while most other products of these type only include a 1-year warranty (a few…very few…come with a 2-year warranty. This charging pad, on the other hand, comes standard with a 2-year warranty…and, upon registering it with Belkin, an additional year (3 years, in total) is added at no additional charge. If you want the fastest charging pad you can get, then look elsewhere, such as one made by your cell phone’s manufacturer, as the Belkin BoostUp 10W Charging Pad is NOT a “Fast Charge” accessory. On the other hand, if you’re in need of a quality charging pad, with an excellent warranty, and don’t mind the charging taking a little longer (a perfect example would be overnight charging), then look no further. Nevertheless, the above review, be it positive, negative, or anywhere in-between, is a 100% honest review, and the price paid played absolutely no part in my review.

It works, it does what it need's to do. I had no problems with using it to charge my LG V30 phone. I have an Otterbox Defender Series case on it and it even charges through that, though if the rubber casing is removed it will charge more reliably. Sadly my device does not have Fast Wireless Charging. If you're looking for a good charging pad that's not an eyesore this one will do the trick. I was a little surprised that it's using a Micro-USB connection instead of the more reliable and higher capacity Type-C. It still gets the job done though.

This is my first wireless charger so I was excited for a 10w given this is roughly the fastest phones will charge wirelessly anyways. It works exactly as described and even though my LG V40 charges faster via the traditional method its nice to just be able to set the phone down and have it start to charge. My only compliant is the fact this charger used a Micro USB plug instead of a Type C since this is the new USB standard so many devices are now using this plug. Other than this is charger works and I would recommend it to anyone!

This Belkin 10W charging pad is great. It takes just a few seconds to setup, and offers so much convenience. I have mine setup on the entry table in my house, so guests with compatible phones can set their phone on it to charge. It will work with any Qi compatible device, but offers Fast Charge for compatible phones, meaning they will charge much faster. A light on the unit lets you know if your phone is charging, which is also nice.

Belkin 10W Wireless Charging Pad - Black The Belkin QI charging pad is a 10 watt QI charger. The pad is about 3-1/2” in diameter and about 1/2” thick. It comes with a standard micro USB cable that is 49” long. It also comes with a full power QI multi voltage wall charger. The pad has a port for the input power on one side and a small LED on the opposite side. Rubber feet on the bottom and a rubber ring around the top to help stop your phone from falling off. The instruction say to read all instructions before using. The there are 7 more instructions basically saying plug it in and don’t get it wet. There is no mention of the function of the light. The light turns white while it’s actively attached to your phone, charging or fully charged. The light turns orange when the connection to your phone fails. The unit appears to have only 1 charging coil. I could not find any documentation on this. 1 coil means less interference but also means tighter alignment parameters. Charge time is exactly what I expect from a QI charger using my Samsung Galaxy S8, and iPhone 8. Case thickness makes a big difference, as you would expect. An Otter Box Defender case has 4.6mm of thickness behind the phone back. At this distance phone placement is critical, but functional. At 3.5mm it is much more forgiving but still has to be close. At the 3mm distance, the distance they state, it is even better, but again still needs to be close. With no case at all you can just about drop the phone on it and it works. I had a hard time finding a spot where the charging pad would not see the phone when I had removed the case. Overall at this price point you can’t go wrong.

Charging pad is think and lightweight. It has rubber strips underneath that keeps it from sliding. It has a small white charging light that illuminates on the front side of the charging pad when your phone is charging. Wish the light would illuminate green to let you know your phone is fully charged. The light illuminates white while charging and when it's fully charged. Overall good charging pad.

This wireless charging pad, works great. I have a few different Qi enabled phones, and all of them were able to charge easily with this pad. All phones were able to use their fast charging mode, even through their cases. -- The manufacturer does not promise charging with cases above 3mm of thickness. It also is not recommended, and will most likely not work with any cases that have any form of metal in between the phone and charger pad. Any metal left between the two "could" result in potential hardware failure, so make sure to remove those parts before charging. The charging pad also has a tiny LED indicator to let you know if you have a good contact or position for optimal charging by displaying a white light, and a yellow light for bad. It even has a foreign object detector, to avoid sending out a charging signal unnecessarily, The charging pad is universal and auto sensing with up to 10watts of charging power, to deliver fast charging to any of the current Qi enabled phones on any OS.

I have now owned a few wireless charging pads and I must say Belkin puts out a great product. A great feature of this charger is that in 35 minutes it charges your phone to 80%. This model is a bit lighter in weight than my other ones but power wise it’s still adequate. Packaging is simple. The instructions are on the diner side of the plastic slide out

I've tried using a few different charging pads in the last couple of years and this one clearly works the best. Small, simple design. I have a Note 9 that I use with a wallet style case that doesn't usually work well with charging pads. With this one I have no problems. It works well with the quick charge feature of the phone as well. Highly recommend!

Nothing special about this one, but it works fine with both my iPhone XS and my Google Pixel 3. Doesn't fast charge, but those models are picky about which chargers they'll fast charge with. Comes with cord and plug. Depending on the orientation of your outlet, the plug won't intrude on ones above or below, but will for ones to either side.

It works. Use it on a iPhone XR with Otterbox case. It does sometimes require to move the phone around a little bit to activate charging but it does work with the case on and charges in an optimal amount of time. Good purchase.

The Belkin Boost Up Qi charger is a basic Qi charger done right. The 10W power charges your phone or mobile device quickly and reliably. I have not noticed it over heating and it has a long enough cord to place it on a higher table or countertop. The best features for me include the rubber on the top and bottom. The rubber on top keeps your device from moving around. The rubber on the bottom stops the charger from slipping around on your table or countertop. It will work for Apple or Samsung products. It says it works for any devices that allow for Qi charging, but those are the only two I have tried so far. Not sure it matters to everyone, but it’s also Energy Star certified. Therefore it uses less power than other Qi chargers. I can’t see it use of too much power, but it uses even less than other comparable devices. It’s my go to charger on my nightstand now. No need to search for a plug when I’m half asleep without my glasses on anymore. I highly recommend this product. The price is a great value for what you get in return. I’d buy it again and may do so!

I love that it charges my Android with the case on it as well as my wife's iPhone. And the quick charge is awesome. This was is a replacement for a Samsung charger and I must say it fast and very versatile, I am getting another for the wife she is hogging mine.
